Jonathan "Bart" Kight, 56 of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday evening at his residence. A funeral service will be held on Friday morning, 10:00 AM, at Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park. Bart is preceded in death by his father James Kight and nephew Matthew Kight. He is survived by Opal Kight, his loving wife of 32 years; daughter Caroline Kight of Charlotte; son Jonathan Kight II of Raleigh; Mom Judy Kight of Jacksonville; brothers Bryan Kight and wife Jan of Jacksonville and John Kight and wife Ginny of Myrtle Beach, SC, sister Beth Scott and husband Lee of Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 - 7 PM at Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville.
