"Johnny Ray Runyan Johnny Ray Runyan, age 72, a resident of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2023, at Mosaic Life Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri. Johnny was born the son of Bob and Edna (Kelley) Runyan on September 6, 1951, in Kansas. He was a graduate of Chillicothe High School. (He served in the United States Air Force. Johnny was united in marriage to Sherry Lynn McCollum on April 30, 1971, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death on February 12, 2013. He worked as an over the road truck driver for 30 years. Johnny was a member of The Church of Latter-day Saints, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was also a member of the VFW Post 6760 of St. Joseph, Missouri. Survivors include one son, Frank Runyan of St. Joseph, Missouri; two sisters, Roberta Persinger of Bosworth, Missouri and Cheryl Beart of South Carolina; and one brother, Chris Runyan and wife, Lisa, of Marshall, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sherry Lynn Runyan; and one son, Raymond Runyan. Graveside services will be held at the Utica Cemetery, Utica, Missouri, on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 1:00 p. m. Dolores I. "Dody" Berry-Moulden, age 87, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, Dec. 9th, 2023, at Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison. She grew up in Atchison, Kansas, where she lived most of her life until 2016, when she moved to St. Joseph, Missouri. Dody married Arnold "Skip" Moulden on September 20, 1952, at the First Christian Church in Atchison, Kansas. Together, Skip and Dody made their home in Atchison, Kansas, where they raised their two children. Dody enjoyed reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her grand dogs. Dody was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold "Skip" Moulden, and sister Imogene "Imo" Blankenship. Survivors include her two children: daughter Debby Frerichs and son-in law Steve, Kingman Arizona, daughter Kim Moore and son-in law Mike, St. Joseph, Missouri, honorary son Daniel Hall jr. , St, Joseph, Missouri, three grandchildren: Jessika Fritsch and husband Jesse, Aaron Moore and wife Dana, and Payton Fisher, and husband Orencio. Two great-grandchildren, Sienna, and Charlie Fritsch. Cambria Nicole Jo Peters2006-2023Our precious angel, Cambria Nicole Jo Peters, 17, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 4, 2023. She was born on September 26, 2006, to Andrew Peters and Amanda Coots in St. Joseph, Missouri. She attended Central High School. Cambria was an aspiring makeup artist who was very passionate about her craft. She had dreams of attending cosmetology school to pursue her career in the makeup industry. She was known for her infectious smile and laughter, and her sarcastic humor. Her friends loved her for her huge heart and how she always spoke up for those whose voices were unheard. She was the best big sister, a caring friend, and beloved daughter and granddaughter. Her family and friends hope that Cambria knows how much she is loved and missed already. Stanley F. "Stan" Hall1932-2023Stanley F. "Stan" Hall, 91, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was born September 20, 1932 in Savannah, Missouri to William Alanson and Clare (Frazee) Hall. Stan graduated from Savannah High School, then earned his degree in AB Psychology-Sociology from the University of Missouri. He married Doris Jean Coy on August 31, 1956. She preceded him in death on August 12, 2014. Stan proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force for two years and the Reserves for 26 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He then began a long and varied career in business. He worked for 20 years in various Sales and Management positions with American Electric Co. of St. Joseph, as well as being based in Woodward, OK, and Fort Collins, CO, then went on to serve as President and General Manager of Seaman & Schuske Metal Works Co. He then was Downtown Development Manager for the St. Joseph Area Chamber of Commerce, then Executive Director of the St. Joseph Development Corporation. Stan was very active in the community, serving on the board of directors for the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Missouri Western Gold Coats, Heartland Health Foundation, St. Joseph Historical Society, and Performing Arts Association. He and Doris also played Santa and Mrs. Claus for the annual Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art "Breakfast With Santa" for many years. He also was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, St. Joseph Rotary Club #32, American Legion #287, BPO Elks, Brookdale Presbyterian Church; The Retired Officers Association (TROA, MOAA), Savannah Lodge #71 AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Moila Shrine Temple, and various local military, arts, historical and sports memberships. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Doris; his son, John Hall; his parents; and a sister, Genevieve Fallis (Pat). Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Martz (Matthew); granddaughters, Emily McPhee (Joel), and Dora Elizabeth Martz (Johnny Granfors); great-granddaughters, Molly Jo McPhee and Maggie Jean McPhee; nephew, Mike and Holly Fallis and their children, Patterson and Paige, and cousin Debbie and Bill Fanning and their daughter, Abby and her son, Corbin Shuman. Dezina Odom1946-2023Dezina Odom, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023. She was born April 14, 1946 in San Mateo, California to Winfred "Tex" and Ouida (Hudgins) Woodard. She grew up in California, graduating from Venice High School. Dezina married David Odom on February 20, 1965. After graduating she worked at a bank in Hollywood, where she met some movie-star bank customers, including Cary Grant. Later she would become one of the top consultants for Tupperware, a title she kept for 45 years. Dezina loved to read and was a great cook, making memorable corned beef and cabbage and birthday cakes for all of the family. Dezina was a very loving person, always giving to others and sharing her love of Jesus. She was a worthy woman (Proverbs 31). She was preceded in death by her son, Darcy Odom; her parents; and a brother, Charles Woodard. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, David; children, Dorinda Teem (Todd), Jackie Moser (Shawn), Davina Salmons (Wesley), Devin Odom (Jessica), and Derek Odom (Heidi); daughter-in-law, Tina Odom; grandchildren, Dillon Moser, Kaitlin Moser, Tyler Teem, Kylie Teem, Adelynn Salmons, Ardin Salmons, and River Odom; great-grandchildren, Alivia Moser, Wren Teem, Hallie Endecott, and twins on the way; siblings, David Woodard and Darrell Woodard; other extended family members and friends.
