Johnny Ray (John Boy) Justus, 45, of Panther, WV, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. John Boy was born April 25, 1973 in Welch, WV, a son of Mildred Ann Cline Justus and the late Willis Justus. In addition to his father, John Boy was preceded in death by one daughter, Tara Nicole Justus and one sister, Crystal Davis. Survivors include his mother, Mildred Ann Justus of the home; one sister, Judy Reid and husband Gary of Springfield, MO; a nephew, Punkin Bailey of the home; and two special friends, Stevie Mills and Nicholas Hunt both of Panther, WV. Friends may visit with the family Saturday evening, April 27, 2019 after 6 p.m. at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church at Greenbrier near Panther, WV, where an evening service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 1 o'clock with Elder Fred Bailey, Brother Odell Riffe, Elder Dallas Dotson, Elder Arthur Short, Elder Zeb Justus, and Elder Danny Hurley officiating at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church at Greenbrier near Panther, WV. Burial will follow in the Hillard Justus Cemetery at Guesses Fork near Hurley, VA. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV, is assisting the family.
