Johnny Boyd Henson III, 55, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Johnny was the son of the late John B Henson II and Emma Moses Henson. Johnny loved tinkering with electronics, even if it was working. He always had to alter it to make it better. Streaming movies was his favorite past time, his favorite show was Mystery Science Theater. He was also a photographer in the past. He had a Associates Degree for Electrical Engineering. He worked for Tektone of Franklin. He is survived by his wife, Carolee Berryhill Henson of Franklin. A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, October 11, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm, one hour prior to the service. Rhonda Priscilla Mason-DuVall gained her eternal wings on the morning of December 7, 2023. She was born on August 7, 1969, in Rabun County, GA. She was the daughter of the late Gerald Daniel and Leona Greene Mason. Rhonda is survived by her husband of 26 years, Terry L. DuVall; two children, Brandy Carnes (Ben) of Tiger, GA, and Erwin John Cody Gribble III of Ohio; one grandchild, Ellie Carnes; two brothers, Steve Mason (Dusty) and Mark Mason (LaRessie) both of Franklin, NC; and two sisters, Shelba Kiker (Keith) of Sneedville, TN, and Robin Chastain of Franklin, NC. She also has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins surviving. Rhonda's father was a Baptist minister and would preach on the radio on Sunday mornings. As a child, Rhonda at times would stand on a chair in the studio and sing songs that her father wanted her to. She would travel to different churches in Clay and Macon County to sing. Rhonda did love her music. She was a devout Christian and worked as a window clerk at the United States Post Office. Rhonda loved growing flowers and shrubs with her mother and sharing seeds and such with friends. She also enjoyed sharing seed books with Uncle Allen. Rhonda also loved making quilts with her mother, crocheting afghans for family, and crafts of all kinds. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Early in the morning of December 2, 2023, William Ralph Hall (nicknamed Bub) age 84 left us to be with the Lord. He was born to Williams Ligah Hall and Bertie Leatherman Hall on August 10, 1939. He grew up with his two brothers and three sisters. He joined the Navy at the age of 18. Following his service, he met and married Linda Hyatt. They recently celebrated 60 years of marriage this past August. He went to college at night while working full time. After graduating from Kennesaw College, he made a career as a Systems Analyst for Fulton County, GA. After retiring, he and Linda moved back to their beloved mountains. His favorite pastimes were spending time with family and flying. Bub is survived by his wife, Linda, and his two daughters Shelley Williams (Kelly) and Sherri Jones (Loran). He has five grandchildren: Jessica Eller, Chance Jones, Jordan Jones, Alaina Jones, and Anna Jones. He also has two great grandchildren CJ and Alexis Clark. He is also survived by his brother- in-law Jewel Ray Bishop, sister Carla Bowen, brother Ivan Hall (Reba), brother Tom Hall, and sister Margaret Hall Sutton (Danny). There are numerous nieces and nephews that he loved greatly. Bub is preceded in death by his sister Marylee Bishop, brothers-in-law Ted Bowen and Gary Sutton, and sister-in-law Jill Hall. A funeral service will be held December 5, 2023, 2:00 p. m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 67 Mica City Road, Franklin, NC. 28734. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow the service at Shepherds Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina. P. O.
