Pamela Ann Whitefield of Moore, Oklahoma, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, passed away from this life on November 27, 2023, at the age of 63. Pamela was born in San Diego, California, on February 12, 1960, to James Dale Cooper and Judith Ann (Cope) Cooper. She retired from the Department of Human Services after a 26-year career with the State of Oklahoma. Incredibly kind and easy to talk to, Pamela was a sweet, loving person with the heart of a true caretaker. It was in her nature to take care of everyone, always doing everything in her power to make sure the people she loved were safe, well, and happy. After her retirement, she moved to Nebraska to help care for her mother. Just last summer, Pamela and her mom Judy, along with son Chris, moved back to Oklahoma to be closer to family. She enjoyed doing genealogy research, spoiling her puppies, going to lunch with her good friend Cindy, and in her younger years, loved to bowl. More than anything, Pamela cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, all of whom she completely adored. Preceding her in death are her father, James Cooper, her grandmother, Melbra Walker, and her beloved pup, Dutchess. Left to treasure her memory are her children, sons Chris Bettis, and Conan S. Whitefield, and daughter Tawny Ardery and her husband Rayland; eleven grandchildren, Kirea N. Whitefield, Aylssa S. Whitefield, Colton S. Whitefield, Penelope Wano, Lenea Sandlin, Callie Sandlin, Ramsey Ardery, Rynna Ardery, Hartleigh Ardery, Ryleigh Ardery, and Rhayce Ardery; her mother, Judith Cooper; and her brother, Kenny Cooper. Pamela is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephew Alexis and Casey Cooper, and many other extended family members and friends.
