Today with a heavy heart, we are sad to announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and grandson. As an avid surfer, Johnathan loved the ocean, surfboards, his friends, and all of his family. Our lives are brighter for having him in our world. His contagious smile would brighten any room. He had an infectious laugh and sense of humor. If you were lucky enough to be loved by Johnathan, you were loved fiercely, unconditionally, and without boundaries. He was a staunch defender of the underdog. He was one of those rare men who never chose to remain silent when he could stand and make a difference. He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Wilker and his younger brother, Harrison Wilker. He is survived by his father, Richard Wilker, his sisters, Shannon Wilker, Ashleigh Sargent and Alise Petersen Smith (Parker Smith), his grandparents, Jerry and Susan Hess, fiance, Dakota Ferrone, six nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins across the country.
