John Williams Obituary

John Lee Williams, 74, Altoona, passed away Monday at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Llewellyn A. , Sr. and Dora Mae (Decker) Williams. He is survived by three sons: John Streightiff of Altoona, Daniel Streightiff of Bellwood and Jason Streightiff of Bellwood; two stepdaughters: Tina Lopez of Altoona and Billie Jo Dawson of Altoona; and three siblings: Thomas Williams of Springfield, OH, Jean Burris of Newport News, VA and Joan Cromwell of Altoona. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings: Pamela Williams, Llewellyn Williams, Jr. and James Williams. John was a member of the Restored Apostolic Ministries of Altoona. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and skill games. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Friends will be received from 10 to Noon on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. , 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, 16601. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville, with military honors.
