Thomas Minter

Thomas Minter

Age - 4

November 13, 2023

Thomas (Tommy) Richard Minter, age 4, died on November 11, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Thomas is survived by his parents Nicole Muhlbauer and Bradley Minter, sisters Colette (7) and Elise Minter (3), grandparents Dolly and Jim Muhlbauer and Catherine (Richard) Minter, and aunts, uncles: Jimmy John and Gina Muhlbauer, Jillian and Kurt Boyles, Lindsay and Ryan Waters, and Jeffrey Minter. Tommy was born on December 14, 2018 in Providence, Rhode Island and instantly began sharing his joy for this world. He was a lover of hot wheels, monster trucks, soccer, swimming, Jui-Jitsu, and all things 'boy'. His favorite colors were 'the boy colors'. Thomas had an energy about him that would light up every room he was in. Tommy loved waking up every morning by starting the coffee pot for his Mommy and Daddy. He would ask about the family plans for the day and would always be very excited- whether it was a school day, park day, or a trip to the grocery store. He would often ask about when the next family trip to California was planned and if it included Disneyland. In his short life he had been there three times. His days would end with a family dance party, his favorite books, and bedtime prayers. He went to sleep every night holding his precious cheetah cat. Tommy's joy for living was only matched by his love for his Mommy, with whom he shared a special bond. Every day, Tommy looked to his Daddy to learn how to get big muscles, run fast, and be humble and kind. He was best friends with both of his sisters who were his constant companions. He beamed when he was around his cousins (Reagan, Trip, Ford, and Grace) and all his friends. He prided himself on being a helper, specifically his Poppy's helper, for whatever needed to be fixed. Over this last summer, Tommy had perfected swimming and diving, even doing flips into the pool. He enjoyed several family trips to the beach which always ended in a happy ice cream cone. In the autumn, Thomas enjoyed playing on his swing set, running laps around the backyard, and dressing up as Spider-Man. When you see a superhero, blue jay, or cheetah, please smile and remember Tommy. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a Foundation being set up in Tommy's name, details to follow.
