Judi Roman

Age - 79

It is with great heartache that we share the loss of our beloved Judi Roman. Judi was a woman of strong faith and character. She was a meticulously organized hoarder and planner who kept a list for everything. She had a love for puzzles, crosswords and sudoku that kept her mentally sharp in her retirement years. Judi's prized possessions were her family and her late partner, Jean Brooks. During their 40 years of friendship and companionship, they enjoyed trips around the world, including a magnificent Mediterranean cruise. In their later years, they found joy in spending time poolside at their condo in Florida. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Stan and Genevieve Roman; as well as her partner, Jean. She leaves behind to honor her legacy, her brother, Larry (Lianne); her niece, Nicole Hoover (Rick); and her nephew, Kevin Roman (Dana). She is also survived by the apples of her eye, her grandnieces and grandnephews; Kyle Hoover, Kiley Roman, Nolan Hoover, Madeline Hoover, Megan Roman, and Nathan Roman. We would be remiss to exclude her niece's fur babies, Henry, Chester and Bear Hoover which she had trained to expect treats from her upon entering and leaving her niece's house. Finally, she also leaves to grieve, her "forever family", the Cianciolo's, the Berlin's and the Lawrence's. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a service celebrating her beautiful life will take place 11:30 Monday at St. Hilary Catholic Church, where friends may call 10:30-11:30. She will be interned at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park immediately following the ceremony. Special thanks to the nurses in the MICU at Akron General/Cleveland Clinic, in addition to the kind staff at Justin Rogers Hospice in Copley. In lieu of flowers, please graciously consider donating to one of Judi's favorite charities, which include St Jude's Hospital, St. Hilary Parish, Holy Family Cancer Home in Parma or Justin Rogers Hospice facility.
