Pitillo, John R "Tillie" of Orchard Park, entered into rest October 5, 2023 Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Ford) Pitillo; dear father of Peter (Pamela) Pitillo, Susan (late Michael) Schaefer, Lori Ann (late Paul) Chiodo, Diane Pitillo, Gregory (Lisa) Pitillo, Nancy (Matthew) Jones, and Jeffrey (Kirsten) Pitillo; cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; loving son of the late John R and Marie (Gugino) Pitillo; dear brother of Sharon (Lanny) Simmons, late Ronald Pitillo and Michael (Joan) Pitillo; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd , Orchard Park (near Lake Ave ) on Friday (October 13th) from 3-8 PM A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd , Orchard Park on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, please assemble at Church Interment Hillcrest Cemetery In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo of St Jude's Children's Hospital Mr Pitillo was a veteran of the United States Army

Josephine P. Longo, 94, formerly of Buffalo NY, and Orlando, FL, passed away December 4, 2023, in Bradenton, FL. She was the daughter of Salvatore and Carrie Territo. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel, of 65 years; brothers, Jack and Mario; sisters, Teresa and Pauline. She is survived by her sister, Maria; children, Daniel (Linda), Samuel (Linda), Annette (Randy) and Karen (Horst); 10 grandchildren (her dollies), Christian, Heather (Rich), Jason (Nanette), Maureen(Nick), Crystal, Erik, Sean (Kelly), K. C (Katie), Alexander & Steven (Hannah); 16 great grandchildren, Alexis, Isabella, Sophia, Adalina, Sammy, Katelyn, Sawyer, Scarlett, Ansley, Mia, Sophie, Hailey, Elliot, Nathan, Marlana & Zaydan, Eric, and many nieces and nephews. When Josephine was 16 years old, she met Sam, the love of her life, or Butch, as she called him. They married on October 4, 1947, and built a beautiful, happy life starting in Buffalo, New York. Her career at AM & A's department store made her so very proud. She was one of the first women Buyers at that time. She took golf lessons so that she could spend time with her husband. They were always seen together on the dance floor. We called them Fred & Ginger! She was the most fulfilled and happiest cooking and baking. Everything she made was so filled with love. She enjoyed sharing her delicious food, bread, cookies and candies with her family and friends. She also loved having her children and grandchildren underfoot, helping her in the kitchen. After moving to Florida in 1981, they enjoyed retirement for a few years. Josephine returned to work with Seminole County in the Building Department and the Pay Office. They joined the Italian American Social Club and were avid volunteers and attendees. She served as the president and was on several committees, all while dining and dancing several times a month. Josephine was a very devout Catholic. She was an active volunteer in the church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. In addition, she attended and volunteered with the Italian American Veterans Association and the St. Jude Foundation. The Sweetest Lady that ever lived!!Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM, December 14, 2023, at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 2850 75th St W, Bradenton, FL 34209; burial to follow at 2 PM, December 14, 2023, at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102 Ave. , Bushnell, FL 33513. SUZANNE PACHOLSKI -M. Suddenly November 29, 2023, beloved wife of the late Robert; sister of John (Liz) Borcuch; dear aunt of Ty (Allison) and Allison Borcuch (Zach); great aunt of Juniper. Visitation at Buszka Funeral Home, Inc. , 2005 Clinton Street (corner South Ogden) Wednesday from 3-7 PM. Sue's energy and enthusiasm led her to an enviable professional career. Highlights include serving as the personal secretary to Family Court Judge, Victor Manz and administrative work at the Police Athletic League and Buffalo Parks & Recreation She was the confidential secretary to City Councilman Gus Franzyk and secretary to former Mayor Anthony Masiello. A devout catholic, she served as President of the Parish Council at Our Lady of Czestochowa. Other parish activities include leading prayers for the Rosary in the Garden and serving as a Eucharistic minister. Sue, along with her husband Bob, was a dedicated member of the St. Francis High School family for 43 years. Her tireless effort raised thousands to support the annual Justinian Auction. She was also an avid supporter of the St. Francis Alumni Association, Arts Association, and Sports Association. Sue's leisure time included boundless love for her family, friends, neighbors, and, of course, Tucker, her guard Schnauzer! An avid sports enthusiast, she followed local high school and college football. She enjoyed watching The Voice and General Hospital, which led to lively, and sometimes heated discussions with her many friends. She was also a founding member of the PMC. In all of Sue's "spare time", occasional trips to Ellicottville or New England with dear friends provided some time to relax and rewind. She was full of love, laughter, and life, was a true friend to all, and was the ultimate people person. Memorials in Sue's name may be made to the Pacholski Scholarship Foundation at St. Francis High School.
