John F. MuellerBay City, MichiganJohn passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center, age 85. He was born May 28, 1938, in Bay City, Michigan to the late Arthur and Helen (Leatz) Mueller. John graduated from T. L. Handy High School and was employed with Newcor, Inc. in Bay City for several years until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bay City. He enjoyed antique cars, hunting with his sons, bowling in the Newcor league at Bay Lanes, and spending time at his cabin in St. Helen, Michigan. John is survived by his wife Sharon (Travis), whom he married on July 11, 1987, his children: Jeffrey (Patty) Mueller, David (Wendy) Mueller and Debra Cameron, his stepchildren: Tami (Tom) Clements, Todd Hearit, and Marc (Cassie) Hearit, sixteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Helen and his sister Marilyn. Per John's request, cremation will take place. No services will be held. Angela May SpencerEssexville, MichiganWith late evening snowflakes falling, our mom, Angela May Spencer, met her husband, Bud at the gates of Heaven on December 2, 2023. Angie was born January 24, 1933 in Sparr, Michigan to the late Edward and Hedwig Plachta. She was the 10th of their 12 children,Angie married her high school sweetheart, Cline "Bud" Spencer on August 22, 1953 and went on to create a large family of their own. They settled in Essexville, Michigan in the fall of 1973. Angie and Bud strived to give their children experiences they themselves never had, and instilled a work ethic in them that they all use to this day. Angie enjoyed numerous activities throughout her life. She was a voracious reader, a crossword puzzle fanatic, and a family champion Scrabble player. Although she could not golf for the last several years, it was a game she loved to play, especially with her mom and sister Dolly. Angie gave each of her children a small part of herself throughout her life. Her love of family. Her gentle and caring nature. Her love of laughter. Her lifelong friendships. Her ability to put a smile on her face at all times. These lessons were delivered by her each day. Now we get to carry them forward. The torch has been passed, and it is our job to keep it glowing for the next generation. Although we will miss her dearly, we know she is in a better place. Angie is survived by her children, David (Leta) Spencer, Donna (Gregg) Grobbel, Martin (Angie) Spencer, Paul (Lisa) Spencer, Kevin (Camie) Spencer. Her adoring grandchildren, Jessica (Phil) Manning, Nathan (Kristin) Campbell. Kristin (Stephen) Johnson, Katherine Schneider; great grandchildren, Lucas, Scarlett, Bennett, Kamden, Frances, Madeline, Elijah, Olivia, Lincoln, Rowan, Mirabelle plus sisters Patricia (Marvin) Wyant; Judy (Bill) Finn. In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; daughter, Kathleen Campbell; grandson, William Schneider and siblings, Edward Jr. Plachta, Gerald Plachta, Eugene Plachta; sisters, Katie Plachta; Barbara Plachta; Dolores Hipke; Alice Plachta; Geraldine Sawyer Foley; Joan Gast. Angie has made an anatomical donation to The University of Michigan Medical School to further the education of future medical students. A memorial service, and celebration of life, will take place later next year for friends and family. Marsha A. (Bradfield) Bowen of Bay City, Michigan. Marsha passed away Tuesday afternoon after a hard fought battle to Lymphoma on November 21, 2023 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. 80 years of age. The daughter of Fredrick and Lillian (Piehl) Bradfield was born April 9, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan. Like her husband, Marsha was committed to her faith. She was a former beautician who retired, devoting her entirety to being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She grew up attending St. John's and enjoyed many hobbies, such as crocheting, playing the piano and excelling at the accordion. She was an exceptional cook and baker, and loved to read while enjoying a quality cup of coffee. For those that knew Marsha, they know just how much she was dedicated to loving her family. She thoroughly enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events, long nature walks admiring the birds, life spent at her favorite place up north on Island Lake where they resided, pontoon and paddle boat rides, family camping trips, and traveling to see her family dispersed throughout Michigan. Marsha's family also enjoyed taking her on trips throughout the country and even internationally. Marsha was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 58 years, Edward J. Bowen, as well as her parents, her sisters Barbara Byce and Mary Bradfield, father-in-law and mother-in-law Francis and Mildred (Jacobs) Bowen, brothers-in-law Francis Bowen, Thomas Bowen, Kenneth Bowen and Peter Bowen, sister-in-law Beverly Feinauer, and her great granddaughter Nora Bowen. Left to cherish her memory are her children Mark (Lynn) Bowen (grandkids: Austin, Breanna, & Chloe), Jill (William) Sebald (grandkids: Erin, Bradfield, Mallory & Maddison), Jodi (Timothy) Rousse (grandkids: MacKenzie & Meredith), Matthew Bowen (grandkids: Hayley & Bostyn), and Jason (Ashley) Bowen (grandkids: Kayli, Caleb, & Caden); her great grandchildren Olivia, Brynlee, Briar, Calloway, Bexley, Leland, Wrenn, Brooks, & Sutton; her brother Thomas (Lupe) Bradfield, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Marilyn (Charles) Rosebush, Jane (Steve) Pawlak, Madonna (Robert) Lang, Susan (John) Shetler, Paul Bowen and Olive Bowen and many nieces and nephews. Marsha will be cremated and a service and celebration of her extraordinary life will be held at a later date to allow time for her family to grieve. Harold Eugene Beauchamp, Jr. Essexville, Michigan Harold Eugene Beauchamp Jr. of Essexville, Michigan died November 22, 2023 at Brian's House at the age of 66 after a lengthy health battle. Harold was born June 28, 1957 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Harold E. Sr. and Rita M. (Glaza) Beauchamp. He attended Handy High School. He went on to become a proud Bay County Sheriff Deputy. After leaving the department, he became a TV Producer for Bay 3 TV. Harold loved his community and being a part of it through his different avenues of employment. In 1975, he entered the United States Marine Corps and there he received a Rifle Marksmanship and Pistol Sharpshooter Badge. Being a HAM Radio operator was a hobby of his, as well as listening to music and traveling, which brought him joy. He looked forward to going on adventures as often as possible. Joan Kaczorowski Bay City, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at her home. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Szewc) Mikolaizyk, Joan was born on July 3, 1932 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Leonard Kaczorowski in October 1982. He survives her. Joan worked at Lufkin Rule and was their first female time study clerk. Following Lufkin's departure from Saginaw, Joan went on to General Motors and worked in data entry before retiring in 1987. She was a former member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Civil Air Patrol. Joan and Leonard loved to travel and visited all of the 50 United States and Poland. She also enjoyed quilting, boating, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband Leonard are her children, Sue Rick, Saginaw; Vince (Dina Castillo) Smith, Fort Mill, South Carolina; Sheryl Behling, Essexville; Cathy McAllister, Bay City; her grandchildren, Cortney (Aaron) Bugbee, Nicole Hales, Christopher (Amy) Rick, Eric McAllister, Alicia McAllister, Josie Smith; four great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert Kaczorowski, Beverly (Dave) Maciejewski and Doug (Kim) Kaczorowski; many nieces and nephews, including Kyle Mikolaizyk. Joan was preceded in death by her son-in-law, James Behling; her siblings, Eugene, Floyd, and Richard Mikolaizyk; two nephews, Joe Mikolaizyk and Jim Mikolaizyk. Tews, Sr. Bay City, MichiganOur beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away after a brief illness surrounded by his sons on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at McLaren Bay Region, age 70. Mike was born June 23, 1953, in Bay City to the late John and Elaine (Pasant) Tews. He graduated from West Catholic Central in 1971. Mike had a successful career in sales and advertising for several newspapers in Michigan, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Bay City and had a deep love for his family, his faith, and his friends. Mike was an avid and talented golfer as well as a big fan of the University of Michigan, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Michael J. Tews, Jr. (Mike Alvaro), Benjamin (Nichole) Tews, and their mother Jane Boyer, and Pierce (Paris) Tews and his mother Robin Gregory; stepchildren Quest Eperjesi, Kristin Russell, Shane (Jessica) Nedwicke, Sable (Josh) McLaughlin, and Skye Gregory Hatch (Matthew Cummings); grandchildren Anna, Isaac, Miles, Lola, and Cecilia Tews; step-grandchildren Sterling and Teigin McLaughlin, Teale (T.
