Obituary of John Milligan John William Milligan (Bill) Bill passed away peacefully in his 91 st year after a short illness. Predeceased by his daughter, Anne, Bill will be sadly missed by his devoted wife, Marianne, and lovingly remembered by daughters Janet (Doug), Barbara, Monica (Tom) and Susi (Steve) and grandchildren Michael, Marissa (Stephen), Nicole, Eric, Shauna, and great granddaughters Serena, Sierra and Audrey. Bill was a longtime member of the Markham Lions Club where he spent many hours donating his time to the work of the club and fostered close friendships with fellow members. He will be remembered for his love of his family, his sense of humor, travel and, last but not least, his love of their Scottish Terriers, "the Robbies". His was a life to celebrate and to remember fondly. A visitation will be held at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of his Life will take place at 11 AM on Monday January 28, 2019, at Grace Anglican Church, 19 Parkway Ave, Markham with reception to follow. Memorial donations in the name of Bill can be to the Markham Lions Club or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
