Judy Evelyn Wasson, 79, of Roland, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in Arkoma, Oklahoma. She was born on December 7, 1944 to the late George Allbaugh and Elizabeth Myers-Eakins in Fletcher, Oklahoma. She was also preceded by her husband: Martin and three sons: Jason, Johnny, and Earl. Judy loved to crochet and work puzzles. She was a loving mother, and will be missed by her family. Judy is survived by her children: Elizabeth Lewis of Van Buren, Arkansas, Lisa Bates of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Victoria Williams of Roland, Oklahoma; a brother: Floyd and Allene Allbaugh of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Friday, March 1,2024 at the U.S. National Cemetery. She was born on September 19, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Burt Owen and Christine Virginia Seveva (Tigner) Thornburg. She was a retired line worker for Baldor Electric and attended Life Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dale Fry, Sr. , a son, Dale Fry, Jr. , a daughter, Teresa Fry, two sisters, Ethel Fowler and Debra Gray, and a brother, Eudale Thornburg. Funeral services are 10:00AM, Monday, December 4, 2023 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with a private burial to follow. The family will visit with friends from 2-4PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
