John C. Koutsouros passed away peacefully with his beloved family lovingly holding his hands on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 76 years of age and resided in Jamison. Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in the West Oak Lane section the son of Louis and Josephine Koutsouros who predeceased him in 2005. John was born on Christmas Day, 1945 and he loved sharing that fact with everyone. He was a typical Philly kid who loved cars, going to dances, and hanging with the gang. After graduating from Olney High School, John enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was always proud of his service to his country and was a true American patriot. In his later years, John was a member of the Marine Corps League and the American Legion. John's incredible pride in his work as a bricklayer made him friends on every job and earned the respect of so many of his peers. John was a giving, caring and selfless person, and he shared his passion for his craft through mentoring others. He would do anything for anyone, sometimes working past dark and completing the job by the lights of his pickup truck. John was very precise and was known to check, double check, and triple check everything he did. At the age of 33, John built his family home in Jamison in 1978. John loved his family dearly. His wife, his daughters, his son and his five grandchildren were everything to him. He was delighted to hear of a sixth grandchild on the way. He was a devoted son and was deeply dedicated to caring for his parents. His love for his sister was beyond imagination. It was a relationship like no other. John will be missed by many. John was the beloved husband for 52 years of Claire Braun Koutsouros and the loving father of Christie A. Grebos (Timothy), Claire A. Williams and John L. Koutsouros (Alyssa). He cherished his grandchildren, Hanna Claire and Caroline Suzanne Grebos, Austin John and Charlotte Rose Williams and Ana Wren Koutsouros.
