John W. Hudson 60, of Guffie, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his home in Guffie. John Wayne Hudson was born December 21, 1958 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Austin Nathaniel and Mary Edith Morris Hudson. John served 20 years in the U.S. Army, achieved the rank of Sergeant, was a security guard at the former Owensboro - Daviess County Hospital and was currently a security guard with Nighthawk Security. He enjoyed camping and his firearms. Survivors include a son, Jonathon Hudson of Ohio County; two brothers, Danny Hudson of Livermore and James Hudson of Elba; four step brothers and step sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Elba. Military Honors will be conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415.
