John Fisk Obituary

John L. Fisk, age 41, of Hastings, formerly of Greenville, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 from injuries received in an automobile accident. The son of Kim Michael & Tina Marie (Fisk) Jackson, he was born on December 13, 1981 in Grand Rapids and attended Greenville Public Schools. On June 15, 2019, in Greenville, he married Tracey Marie Mendez, and they made their home together in Hastings. John worked at Burggrabe Masonry, having started as a laborer and working his way up to equipment operator. He enjoyed riding ATV's and dirt bikes, but most of all loved time spent with his family. Surviving are his wife, Tracey Fisk of Hastings; his children, Emma Jackson and her fiance, Colton Mobley, Ayannah Mendez, and Brent Fisk; his parents, Kim & Tina Jackson of Greenville; brothers and sisters, Michael & Mary Jackson of Wyoming, Lisa & Tom Plite of Greenville, Dannielle Buckmaster and her fiance, Craig Wandell of Muir, and Cherie & Andy Spry of Greenville; his parents-in-law, Stan & Karen Mendez of Hastings; three brothers-in-law, Junior & Sue Mendez, Brad Mendez, and Nick Mendez, all of Hastings; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Private services will be held at Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville, with cremation following the ceremony.
