"Jack Davies It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Davies on September 3, 2023 at the age of 96. Jack was a loving husband to Jennifer McAdam, a loving Dad to Kim (Carol Santagato) and adored Dad to Jennifer's children, Leslie (Adrian), Doug (Floren), and Robert, and an awesome Grandpa to Zachary (Sierra), Christian, Katherine (Mike), and Karlie. Father to Carol and Kathy. Jack enjoyed a wonderful career as a PhysEd teacher and Vice Principal with the Toronto Board, notably at Deer Park, Christie, and Winchester public schools, where he was fondly thought of by his students as a kind, caring, and fair teacher and mentor. Jack made friends wherever he went: as a member of the Water Rats and James Town Sailing clubs, as an avid golfer and curler at Annandale Golf Club, on his travels with Jennifer to Hawaii, Cuba, and Mexico, and especially on their yearly trips to Fern Resort where they fostered lifelong friendships with the owners, staff, and guests. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Providence Villa's Palliative Care floor who were simply amazing. Jack will always be remembered as a kind and truly "gentle man" who will be greatly missed. "
