John Carr Obituary

John D. Carr, 65, of Ashtabula passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was born December 14, 1957, in Jolo, West Virginia, the son of Edward Carr and Georgia Puckett. A US Army Veteran honorably serving our country from 1978-1979. John worked for many years as a truck driver and a salvage yard in North Carolina. He was an avid Lakers and 49ers fan. He loved wrestling, fishing, collecting martial arts memorabilia, riding motorcycles and was truly an animal lover at heart. John is preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Carr in 2019; brother, George Carr; and his parents, Edward Carr and Georgia Mullins. He is survived by his siblings, Edward (Darlene) Carr, Georgia Winslow, Martin Carr, Delta Dawn (Jason) Threadgill, and Daniel Carr; his best friend, Jeff Brooks; stepmom, Mary E. Carr; his K-9 companions, Sissy and Runt Runt; as well many nieces and nephews.
