Mary Palma Bosworth, 92, of Tannersville, Pennsylvania died Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono in East Stroudsburg. Born in West New York, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Caesar and Raparata Cerritelli. Mary was employed as a secretary for Prentice Hall Publishing Company and also for a law office and AAA. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, she was a member of St. Joseph’s of the Palisades Catholic Church in West New York where she was a member of the choir. She was the most forgiving, loving, and caring person you could meet. She never spoke ill of anyone and always helped others. She had a great sense of humor and was quick with a comeback. Mary enjoyed watching baseball games on TV or Jeopardy, knowing most of the answers. She is survived by her son; John Fagliarone and his wife, Toni; daughter Dee Lawson; grandchildren: Dina Snyder, Ryan Fagliarone, Justin and Randy Lawson, Allison York; Jarred Hart; great grandchildren: Benjamin, Zachary and Isabella Roberti, Alex Snyder, sister Cecilia DelGrande and many beloved nieces. Benner. They celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on July 27, 2023.She was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 17, 1941, daughter of the late Philip Leonhardt Sr. and Mary Marjorie (Brady) Leonhardt.Barbara was a graduate of Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, NJ. She also graduated from Trenton State College, cum laude, with a BS in Elementary Education.Barbara was a former flight attendant for Eastern Air Lines and also a nursery school teacher in NJ. She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, reading, gardening and was a Past President of the Hunterdon Hills Garden Club.We have been blessed with the presence of Barbara in our lives. She will be deeply missed by her husband: William of Stroudsburg, PA, a daughter Stacey Brown and husband Claude L. of Stroudsburg, PA.She was the loving grandmother to Shelby A. He was the husband of Terri (Nase) Jony.Born November 11, 1965, in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Charles William Jony Jr. and Joan (Ellison) Koehler of Lawrenceville, Georgia.He grew up in Bergen County, New Jersy, and he graduated from Bergen Tech and went on to become a skilled and master tradesman in both woodworking and construction. His passion for detail is what made him both unique and one of a kind. His work can be found from Buck Hill Falls and throughout the entire East Coast.He is survived by his sons, Coty William Jony and his fiancé Samara Bush and Travis Charles Jony and his fiancé Ashley Kehm, both of Monroe County. He was employed as a factory worker for many years and he was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church of Stroudsburg, Pa. In addition to his wife Maria he is survived by his children: Pedro Santos wife Rochelle of Stroudsburg, Pa., Jose Santos wife Felicita of Chalotte, N.C. and Mercedes Valencia husband Jose of Freehold, N.J., daughter in law Ana Santos, many grand, great and great great grandchildren. Ball who passed away January 7, 2020, they were married for 71 years at the time of his passing.Born January 19, 1930, in Sugar Notch, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Gudoski) Rosell. She was a resident of Stroudsburg since 1953Mary worked as a nurse in Baltimore, Maryland, before becoming a full time stay at home Mom. She did have a few part-time jobs, one being at JC Penney Department Store, when it was on Main Street in Stroudsburg; and she also worked at the Old River Road Bakery and the Stroud Mall.Her favorite things were sewing, reading, and spending time with her family. She and her husband traveled all the 50 States as well as many countries.Mary is survived by her 3 children, Barbara Wilson and her husband Kim of Millville, NJ, Bernard “Bernie” Ball (husband of the late Dorothy) of Marshalls Creek, and Karen Ball of Stroudsburg. She is also survived by six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.She was predeceased by 2 daughters, Patricia Shook and Janine DeckerShe was also predeceased by her sisters, Lizzy, Evelyn, Beatrice and a brother Lenny.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2024, at 12:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, there will be a visitation on Tuesday from 11:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home.Burial will follow at 12:30pm in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
