Jim's love of the outdoors meant you might find him out fishing in Puget Sound or Eastern Washington, hunting at Bonaparte or in Idaho, clamming on the Southwest Washington beaches or kayaking on local lakes. When Jim was not outdoors, you might find him and his wife, Ilana, tending the garden and canning the fruits of their labor, be it peaches, beans, homemade pickles and salsas, and numerous other yummy treats. He never hesitated to arrive at someone's home with a jar of one of his home canned specialties or a dozen eggs from the backyard chickens. Jim will be forever missed by his family, friends, coworkers and last, but not least, his beloved dogs Rockwell and Braxton. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to your local animal shelter/rescue in his memory.
