John von Bereghy age 60, of St. Germain and formerly of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was born January 9, 1963 to Robert and Mary von Bereghy. John is survived by his loving wife Julie, his two sons Darren (Elizabeth) and Dylan (Jorie), stepchildren Samantha (Nick) Stoller and Rose (Kevin) Ward along with his loving granddaughter Aubrey von Bereghy. John is further survived by his brother Erich "Rocky" (Anne) von Bereghy and sisters Chris "Kiki" (Mark) Bennett and Jane (Scott) Halbrucker along with many other relatives and friends and his beloved dogs Bruno and Julius. John was preceded in death by his brother Robert and sister Barbara. John graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1981 and eventually joined the Police Academy and went on to become a police officer for the Town of Oconomowoc and then with the City of Oconomowoc. John worked as a police officer for 33 years until his retirement on May 26, 2019. John loved to fish and he was also a youth football coach for many years in Oconomowoc. During his time as a coach, he impacted many lives and is still fondly remembered for his influence. He had a passion for snowmobiling which led him to retire in St. Germain with his wife Julie. A celebration of John's life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 3:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends starting at 1:00 PM all to take place at Pagenkopf Funeral Home.

Randy Michael Klibowitz, age 71, passed away at home on December 4, 2023. Randy was born to Eugene and Delores on May 3, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI. Randy is survived by his wife, Lorie; children, Clare (fiance, Matt) and Peter (Kalindi); his faithful companion, Emmett; along with other family and friends. Randy loved the lake life, especially being on Lac La Belle. He had a passion for Revolutionary War History and lineage, tracing his family history back to the original settlers of Massachusetts. He loved his job in the creative space, designing for clients all over the world. He enjoyed going for boat rides and walks with his dogs and had a history of rescuing Airedales. Family was everything to Randy; he was always looking forward to Clare coming home to visit. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Airedale Rescue and St. John's Northwestern Academy are welcome. Larry Cross

Larry Lee Cross, a beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023, at the age of 84. Larry was born in Milwaukee, WI to Conwell and Mary Cross (nee Prelec) on March 4, 1939. Larry will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Karen, and son, Jim. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Richard. Larry proudly served his country in the US Army, where he demonstrated remarkable discipline and dedication. After completing his service, he embarked on an apprenticeship as a Steamfitter where he then went to work for the union. Larry worked for Schlitz Brewery from the early 70's until 1982. From there, he worked for Miller Brewery Company for 20 years until his retirement. Larry found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for the great outdoors, embracing his love for hunting and fishing. He could also be found cheering on his beloved Wisconsin sports teams. Larry's enthusiasm for NASCAR was unparalleled, and he never missed the opportunity to watch every race. The Cross family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at AngelsGrace Hospice for their exceptional care and support during Larry's final days. Their kindness and professionalism provided comfort to Larry and his family during this challenging time. Scott A. Landrath, 53, of Oconomowoc, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, November 23, 2023, from natural causes. Scott was born in Wausau to Bev (Ryczek) Landrath and the late Vern Landrath on February 25, 1970. He graduated from Wausau West High School in 1988 and then graduated from North Central Technical College. He was employed by The Town of Brookfield Highway and Parks department and enjoyed working with his crews. Scott was an avid fan of the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, Bucks and Admirals. He enjoyed time with his family, loved ones and being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and going to festivals and enjoying music. Scott is survived by his loving family; Mother, Bev of Wausau, sister Cindy (Jeff) Chamberlain of Sussex, WI, brother Craig (Lisa) of Kronenwetter, WI, and sister Linda (Pete) Erlandson of Portage, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones. The family is having a private memorial service and inurnment. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Wendy Kay Fitzsimmons on November 30, 2023. Wendy was born in Oconomowoc, WI on November 19, 1960 to Dale Kleinhans and Donna Droegkamp (nee Krueger). Wendy will forever be remembered for her profound love and devotion to her husband, Terry. They shared a love that was deep and boundless, their souls connected in an unbreakable bond. Together they created memories filled with laughter and excitement. Wendy was a woman of many interests. She had an eye for fashion and took delight in shopping for the perfect pair of shoes. Her creative flair was showcased in her talent for decorating, transforming spaces into beautiful and welcoming places. Wendy's love for the outdoors was expressed through her meticulous care of her yard, basking in the warmth of the sunshine she adored. Additionally, Wendy had a passion for excitement, regularly embarking on casino trips that provided her with thrills and unforgettable experiences. Wendy is survived by the love of her life, Terry; her mother, Donna Droegkamp; her siblings, Steve (Sharon) Kleinhans, Dawn (Mark) Hartman, Terry Limbach, Dale kleinhans, Linda (Jim) Podany and Mike Kleinhans; her brothers-in-law, Bob, Don, Tommy (Debbie), Bernie (Cindy), Timmy (Denise) and Ricky (Tracy) Fitzsimmons; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Hoffman and Donna (Steve) Unertl. Along with step-brother, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Wendy is preceded in death by her father, Dale and step-mother, Jeanne; her step-father, Dave Droegkamp; mother-in-law, Bernice Fitzsimmons and father-in-law, Hubert Fitzsimmons; and her brother-in-law, Randy Fitzsimmons. David Werner

Age - 84

David John Werner of Neosho, WI passed away November 30, 2023 at the age of 84. David was born July 16, 1939 in Neosho to Russel and Eunice (Gault) Werner. He was a 1957 graduate of Hartford Union High School. David was production supervisor for Fiberesin Industries in Ashippun, working there over 52 years. On July 20, 1974, he married Susan (Schwartz) at St. Paul's Lutheran of Ixonia. David was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran of Neosho, serving as president of the congregation and assistant treasurer. He was a frequent usher and greeter, and enjoyed the camaraderie of his Bible study groups. For his hometown, he served as a trustee for the village, and as secretary of the Neosho Planning Commission. David had an artist's talent for taxidermy, painting, and woodcarving, and was a past member of the Lake Country Carvers in Oconomowoc. He enjoyed golf, fishing, bird watching, and a good flea market. He was a master gardener, and especially enjoyed sharing what he grew. He loved spending time lakeside with his family in his house on Neosho Pond. David is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Susan. CHILDREN: Ross (Julie) Werner of Randolph, Shelley Von Haden of Slinger, Wesley (Holly) Werner of Johnson Creek, James Werner of Iron Ridge, and Necia (Damion Shelton) Werner of Allison Park, PA. GRANDCHILDREN: Dylan (Julie) Werner, Madalyn Werner, Myriel (Dan) Dittmann, Werner Von Haden, Hailee Von Haden, and Jeanne Shelton. GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Wyatt, Mason, and Bria Werner, and Will Dittmann. He is further survived by his niece Jeni (John) Borzick, and many cherished relatives, godchildren, and friends. David is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Marilyn (Pappenfuss) Werner; parents-in-law, Alex and Lillian Schwartz; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bob Ritger; and nephew, Jeff Ritger. Funeral service for David Werner will be held Sunday, December 10 at 4:00 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (132 E School St. , Neosho), with Pastor Joshua Kesting officiating. Visitation at the church from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Guests are invited for a meal in the church fellowship hall following the service. David will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery. Robert Seiy

Robert C. Seiy, of Muskego, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc at the age of 79. The son of the late Charles J. Seiy of South Milwaukee and Kathryn I. Seiy (nee' Pelosi) of Italy, Bob graduated from Cudahy High School in 1962. Immediately upon graduation, he joined the US Navy and served overseas for three years, and another five years in the Navy Reserves. After active military service, Bob joined Ladish Company, where he worked for 40 years as a maintenance electrician. An avid outdoorsman, Bob passionately enjoyed hunting waterfowl and big game in North America, and was also a champion trapshooter and gun collector. He worked magic with wood, carving decoys, walking sticks and other pieces for family and friends. Bob was also an incredibly generous and helpful neighbor - he could, and did, fix just about anything! Throughout his life, he designed and maintained a beautifully landscaped yard for his home, a work of art in its own right. In everything he did, Bob brought great talent, patience and a meticulous eye for detail. Of all the passions Bob enjoyed in this world, none topped the love he had for his beloved wife, Arline (nee' Podlaszewski), whom he married on December 15, 1978. Bob and Arline celebrated each and every day of their 43-year marriage with great love, humor, playfulness and devotion. He lost a part of his soul when she passed away on April 3, 2021. Bob is survived by his sister, Mrs. Patricia Katarow; nephew, Perry Perez; and niece, Dina Perez-Duran, all of Franklin, Wisconsin; Arline's nephew and his wife, Jay and Laura Podd of New Berlin; and his many wonderful friends and "cul-de-sac" neighbors, both old and new. (nee Both)Waukesha. Passed to Eternal Life Friday, November 17, 2023, at Angel's Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc surrounded by family. Ann was 76 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Andrew J. Staudacher. After Andy's retirement from IBEW 494 and her retirement from CRG Services, they moved to warmer weather and spent years in the Florida Keys and then moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where they lived the last 10 years. They enjoyed jeeping, four wheeling, boating and Bocce Ball with many great friends they made there. Ann is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (Brad) Blaney and Julie Sailors and her grandchildren, Cassidy, Emily, and Andrew Blaney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her best friends, Margaret, Jackie, and Cathy. Private services were held. Harold "Harry" Haase, 87, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023. Harry was preceded in death by his parents Otto and Erma (Neisius) Haase, his wife of 48 years Mary (Dolan) Haase, brother-in-law Jack Dolan, and sister-in-law Nancy Dolan. Harry is survived by his children Michael (Deborah) Haase, Jay Haase, and Ann (Jay) Schnell, grandchildren James, Zachary, Joshua, and MacKennah Haase, brother Richard Haase, brother-in-law William (Patricia) Dolan, and 7 nieces and their families. Harry lived most of his life in Oconomowoc, WI where he and Mary raised their family. Harry passed his love of sports on to his children, who he patiently taught to play baseball, basketball, football, and his favorite sport of all, golf. Harry was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and enjoyed a long career as an Insulator and member of the Heat and Frost Insulators Local 19. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc) with a short service and military honors to follow.
