John M. Badertscher 52 of Risingsun, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green, Ohio. He was born January 15, 1971 in Kenton, Ohio to Charles "Leroy" & Margaret "Peggy" Badertscher. He married Melissa Huff September 9, 2019 in Risingsun, Ohio. Surviving is his father Leroy Badertscher of Roundhead, wife Melissa Badertscher of Risingun, sons Jacob & Lucas Badertscher both of Findlay, stepson Joseph (Kamille) Huff Jr. of Weston, stepdaughters Sabrina (Joe) Lucius of Kansas, Courtney (Kelly Gierhart) Caudill of Taylorsville, KY, brothers Chuck (Melinda) Badertscher & Doug (Stephanie) Badertscher, step grandchildren Ryland & Cole Lucius, Blair Huff & sister in law Heather Badertscher. John is preceded in death by mother & brother Mark Badertscher. John worked as a millwright for Whirlpool in Findlay. He was a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School & attended secondary education. John was well known for his love of golfing. The family request those attending to wear golf attire. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 1-3 & 5-8 p. m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral home, Fostoria, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 11:00 a. m. at the funeral home. Burial will be atSt. Wendelin Cemetery, Fostoria, Ohio. Memorials can be made to Bridge Hospice.
