Obituary for Mr. John B. Adams, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel, Opelousas, LA, for Mr. John B. Adams, Jr. , 71, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Rosewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lake Charles, LA. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre, LA. Mr. Adams is survived by three sons, John B. Adams III (Natalie), Carl Wayne Adams (Tiffany), and Lee A. Adams, Sr. (Romone); three daughters, Ave Marie Adams, Leslie A. Adams, and Stacey Adams; one brother, Martin Journet; eight sisters, Theresa Cain (Raymond), Margaret Burks, Mary Louise Edwards (Richard), LouElla Tanner (Frederick), Pauline Boagni, Alice Crethene (Michael), Jennie Simon (Russell), Lovenia Nevills (Dennis); nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlotte Faye Adams; his parents, Ms. Lillie Journet Adams and Mr. John Budd Adams Sr. ; grandparents, Lucille Bob and Norway Journet; four aunts and one uncle.
