Joe Tramante Obituary

Joseph John "Joe" Tramonte, 70, of Lake Charles, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on September 7, 2023 at a local care facility. Joe was native and life long resident of the Lake Charles Area. He honorably and faithfully served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam and was an insulator for Local 112. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, playing pool, and especially dancing. Joe lived life to the fullest, always seeing the glass as half full. There are many sayings that will be remember as him saying including, "We are not building a space ship here" or "If it aint broke, don't fix it!". He will be mostly remembered as one that was loved by many, but loved everybody. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo Victor (Sr. ) and Bernita Johnson Tramonte; siblings, Angelo Victor Tramonte, Jr. and Nathan Allen Tramonte. He leaves to honor and cherish his memories his beloved wife, Judith Fay Arabie Tramonte; two siblings, Anthony Mark Tramonte, Sr. (Dana) and Nancy Therese Henry; daughter, Monica Renee Stutes; step children; Ashley Trahan, Stacy Veillion (Tony), April Trahan, Kenneth Trahan (Nicole), Katherine Whatley (John), Tiffany Zuniga (Alex), Brittany Trahan (Clayton) and Morgan Trahan; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family of the heart. Further arrangements are to be announced.
