MECHANICVILLE Ryan Marshall – David Coulter, 41, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, suddenly, by natural causes, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Ryan was the beloved husband of Michelle, cherished father of Brayden, Connor and step-daughter Lillyana, who he considered as his own. He was also the proud dog dad of Oscar. Ryan was the son of Robyn J. (Mark) Shanks of Averill Park, NY and Marshall (Beth) Coulter of Mechanicville, NY; Brother of Shaina M. Shanks, Averill Park, NY; He was the son-in-law of William and Debra Welch of Cohoes, NY; Brother-in-law of Brittany (Shanna) Welch of Cohoes, NY; Uncle of Christopher and Jaedyn. Ryan was survived by his grandmother Carol Sala of Cohoes, NY. Ryan is pre-deceased by his grandparents of David J. (Shirley) Large, Troy, NY and Livingston (Elinor) Coulter, Stillwater, NY. Ryan was a graduate of Troy High in 2000 and went on to become a Process Technician at his dream job at Regeneron. Ryan enjoyed thrifting, wrestling, golf, going to shows, attending Giants and Yankees games, taking trips to Lake George, but there was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family and friends. Ryan was one of a kind, the life of the party, and was one of the most down to earth people to be around. His contagious laugh, ability to tell the best stories, and love for being involved with his kids sports will forever be remembered. Ryan was survived by many aunts, uncles, and friends who he called brothers, along with their children. Ryan was also survived by his two dearest friends Justin (Linnea), Heffner, Mechanicville, NY, their three children Levi, Gavin and Travis and Jeffrey (Summer) Streeter and their four kids Travis, Madelynne, Ashton, and Zane. Funeral services will be Monday March 4, 2024 at 7 pm at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., (Rte.32) Waterford. OBITUARY MECHANICVILLE – Gloria J. O’Neil, 80, of Dewey Ave, died peacefully in the comfort of her home on February 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving and caring family. Born in Fort Monmouth, NJ on August 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Louise Grillon Zeppieri. A 1961 graduate of Mechanicville High School and later Mildred Elly Business School, Gloria worked at the Mechanicville Housing Authority as an Occupancy Specialist for 28 years. She was also a longtime sales woman at DiSiena Furniture where her gift of gab, eye for beautiful furniture, and pleasant persuasion, enabled her to be successful for many years. Gloria enjoyed knitting, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of the Junior Dante Club and a communicant of All Saints on the Hudson Church. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Thomas S. O’Neil, whom she married on August 4, 1987, her children Scott(Karen) Salvadore, Stacy(Lisa) Salvadore, Sandin(Donna) Salvadore, and Shana(Neil) Phelan, grandchildren Scott(Ashley) Salvadore, Jonathan Salvadore, Paige and Jack Phelan, Abigail Salvadore, David(Hannah) Alston, and AJ and Eric Fiorillo, as well as a great grandson. She was loved by Tom’s family including his son, Tom O’Neil Jr, and daughters Jean O’Neil, and Erin Clark, several step grand and great grandchildren. Also her sister Connie(Joseph) Cocozzo, brothers Tom(Kim) Zeppieri and Bill(Stephanie) Laisdell, and many nieces and nephews. Born in Lodi, NY on October 15, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jessie Miller. A waitress for most of her working life, she worked for the former Cloverleaf Restaurant for over 60 years. She also privately cleaned homes. Lee was a proud homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She also found profound joy in helping to care for family and friends in need. She was a devoted caregiver to Mary Simmons, Betty DeCelle, Aggie Ford, and Matt and Emma Parietti during their times of need. She was also a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church(St. Luke’s on the Hill). She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Connelly, parents Robert and Jessie Miller, step-father Hub Thomas, son Gary Connelly, grandsons Joseph, Joel, and Joshua Rielly, granddaughter Sherree Jennings, and siblings Robert and Charles (Dorothy)Miller, niece Sharon Miller, nephew Michael Miller, and god daughter Carmen Spickler. Born in Troy on January 13, 1942, son of the late Richard and Lena Archambault LeVinus, he was a 1959 graduate of Mechanicville High School, and later Hudson Valley Community College, where he studied construction. George was proud of his career as a welder for General Electric Silicone Products, dedicated for 39 years until his retirement. He was a longtime member, past fire chief, and line officer of the Hemstreet Park Fire Department. He was also an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Louise Pastore LeVinus, whom he married on October 21, 1962, sons and their wives, Richard and Nancy LeVinus of Franklin, NH, and Paul and Julie LeVinus of Londonderry, NH, sister Ann Theriault and Dolores LeVinus, both of Texas, and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with George's wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family with entombment at St. Paul’s Cemetery. MECHANICVILLE - Evelyn C. Camerato who would have celebrated her 93rd birthday on February 27, of S Main St, died peacefully in the comfort of her own home, on February 3, 2024, with her loving and faithful family at her side. Born in Troy, NY on February 27, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor Kenny Viall, and wife of 65 years of the late Rocco J. Camerato. A St. Paul’s Parochial School and Mechanicville High graduate, Evie, as she was known by all, started her career at the former Val’s, where she was a short order cook and waitress. She later worked at Pender’s & Son Clothing store, before ending her career as a deli clerk at Sal’s Place deli. The jobs she held were always secondary to her life as a loving wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother. She was blessed to spend her last 47 years living next to her two daughters and their families. She always made sure they were fed and had numerous snacks to pick from. She loved to bake and was known throughout the community for her holiday treats, especially her Christmas cookies and Easter bread. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing, making ceramic gifts for family and friends, and was an avid bowler. Family gatherings were also important to Evie. She loved Christmas Eve and the yearly summer parties she shared with family, friends and neighbors in her back yard. Those who knew her would express how special she was, and acknowledge the pure joy she found, providing anything she could for her community. A faithful member of All Saints on the Hudson Parish, she was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society and also served as a counter for the parish. Evie was predeceased by her loving husband Rocky, her parents Edward and Eleanor, sisters Eleanor Thrane, Eileen Minor, June Salmon, Mabel Carpenter, Joan Schmidt, and brothers Thomas, Frederick(“Brother”), and Edward (“Bud”) Viall. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Pamela(Patrick ”Brut”) Sgambati and Roxanne(Anthony) Miranda, grandchildren Brad(Megan), Patrick and Marianne Sgambati, Tony(Michaela) and Marc(Shannon) Miranda, her beloved great grandchildren Gianna, Ava, Lukas, Lena, Rocco Christopher, Rocco John, and Santino, her brother Robert Viall, and several nieces and nephews. Special thank you to her caregivers, Wendy Defrusio, Kelly Wilsey and niece Joyce Carpenter. Thank you to Dr Stephen Sgambati, Jr and staff for all the special care they provided for our Mom, including late night phone calls. Also thank you to Hospice for all their care and compassion. "Bob" Sousis, 87, formerly of Division Street, Keeseville, died Friday, February 16, 2024, at the home of his daughter, Wanda, in Mechanicville, NY, under the loving care of his family and their local hospice.He was born in Keeseville, November 26, 1936, the son of John and Rose (Gumlaw) Sousis.He retired following more than 30 years working in the auto body industry.Bob had a love for fishing, camping, and making various beautiful pieces of furniture as well as other items from wood. In his early years he was a remarkable artist. He compiled a portfolio of beautiful sketches/drawings.He enjoyed spending time with his children, listed oldest to youngest; Paula Sousis, Robert Sousis, Jr. (deceased), Wayland Sousis, Tina Blair, and Wanda Sousis. He is also survived by step-children, Robin LaFountain, Lucian LaFountain, Glenn LaFountain, and Charles LaFountain; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as great-great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents and son mentioned above, he was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Furnia Sousis; second wife, Shirley Cobb Sousis; step-sons, Jesse and Eugene LaFountain; and siblings, Wolford Sousis, Harold Sousis, Richard Sousis, and Beatrice Sousis.At Bob's request there will be no public services.
