Joan Connolly Obituary

Joan D. Connolly, 80, passed away May 7, 2023. Joanwas born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Morris Plains and Morristown for most of her life. She graduated from Bayley Ellard High School in Madison, NJ in 1960 and All Souls Nursing School in Morristown in 1963. Joan worked as a nurse at Morristown Medical Center in the critical care unit, emergency department, and ambulatory surgery center until she retired in 1997. Joan is survived by her children: Mary Lynn Alvarino(Jose) of North Wales, PA and Meghan Calichman (Rob) of Berkeley Heights, NJ; her grandchildren: Javier, Alejandro, Logan and MacKenzie; and sister-in-law Rose Doherty, Morris Plains, NJ. Joan is predeceased by her beloved son, Thomas Seanand her brother, John. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Notre Dame of Mt.
