Dana Marie Gentile (nee Torregrossa), passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23rd 2023 (Fibonacci Day) in Columbia, Maryland. Born on February 13th, 1955 in Astoria, New York, she was known for her love of her family and nature, and her knowledge of just about any subject she encountered throughout her 68 years of life. Beloved wife of Paul Gentile for 47 love-filled years, their story began as young teenagers in 1968. Throughout their eight-year courtship they bonded over their passion for mathematics, music, concerts, Broadway; and an unwavering devotion to family. Their marriage was filled with countless family trips; continually searching for magnificent sunsets, beautiful vistas, and Earth's natural wonders. For the past nine years, Lewes, DE became a second home to Dana and Paul, offering tranquil days, while allowing Dana to put her interior design skills to use once again. Dana was a loving mother to Tristen Kvedar (Timothy Kvedar) and Tarin Baugh (Alexander Baugh). She was an amazing mother to her two girls, but her true calling was to be a grandma. She thoroughly enjoyed showering each of them with the gift of her love and time. Dana's legacy will continue through her three grandchildren (Eva Kemper Kvedar, Mia Dane Kvedar, and Cooper Lee Baugh).
