Jimmy Marlin Mears age 75, passed from his earthly to his heavenly home on June 17,2022. Linda Pitts Mears, his loving wife of 56 years, and his family surrounded him. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time at his hunting club with family and friends, as well as sharing these experiences with his grandchildren. Jimmy was an amazing friend to so many and always loved unconditionally. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter (Jr) and Lilly Joe Mears, brother Donny Joe (Lynn) Mears. He is survived by his children Lori Mears Bond (David) and Christopher Marlin Mears (Terra); niece Donna Pitts Crane; grandchildren Niki Mears Pate (Austin), Kaylee Grace Mears; great granddaughter Collins Nicole Pate. The family would like to thank the hospital staff with Expect Care for the loving and professional care provided to our family. The funeral will be Tuesday June 21, 2022 at 11:00 A. M. at Peoples Chapel with burial to follow at Cedar Hill. The visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00. . .
