Jimmie Dean Clark Horton, 74, died Thursday, October 5, 2023, at her home in Clyde. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p. m. Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Ft. Phantom Hill Cemetery with David Simms officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p. m. Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde. Jimmie was born March 21, 1949, in Abilene to Delmer Lee "Bud" Clark and Winnie Lucille Hail. She started school in Elmdale and graduated from Hawley High School. Jimmie married Ralph Horton in Vancouver, Washington, on October 11, 1997. They moved to Clyde from Vancouver in 2012. Jimmie was a case worker for MHMR and was a member of the Baptist church. Jimmie is survived by her husband, Ralph Horton of Clyde; four sons, Jerry Ritter, Jr. and wife Carla of Abilene, Rodney Ritter and wife Dawnette of Abilene; Timothy Ritter of El Paso and Timothy Horton and wife Kassiey of Ft. Worth; one daughter, Tammie Ritter of Tyler; one brother, Roy Clark and wife Becky of Eula; two sisters, Dorothy Harter and husband John of Woodway, Texas, and Seretta Smallridge and husband Guy of Gatesville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Lometa "Pete" Rambin, Cleeman Fern Lee and Debra Lucille Bishop. Berthe Ndengue epouse Djob II, 64, of Mbankomo/Yaounde, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023 in Plano, Texas after suffering a massive stroke which she fought for 07 long weeks at the Texas Health Presbyterian ICU. Berthe was born on January 31, 1959 to Ndjiki Oscar and Ngo Tonga Berthe in Douala, Cameroon. She grew up in Douala where she received her First School Living Certificate. She then went to Middle School in College Montesquieu, Yaounde to obtain her BEPC. She carried up her education to high school until she obtained l'examen de probatoire and decided to go to trade school for Seamstress career. In 1978, Berthe met Djob II Victor at Yaounde/Cameroon while in Trade School. Both married in 1981 and went on to have 7 children, in order Lea Djob, Berthe Djob, Eric Djob, Yolande DJob, Victorine Djob, Armelle Djob and Oscarine Djob. Berthe was a widow having lost her husband in 2009. She was a full time devoted mother and sacrificed her own career to do so. She was also very religious, loved God and adored him with all her heart. She was a member of many spiritual groups including UEBC church and Military Spouses Association. In her free time, she enjoyed doing tailor work, cooking delicious meals and loved to travel. She left behind many saddened grandchildren. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for people around her. She loved family life and was a great conflict resolver and peace advocate for her family. She showered her grandkids with love. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives and will be forever missed. Services will be held at Agape All Nations Church on August 26 at 11 AM located at 1501 N Country Club Rd, Garland, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to send her remains back to Cameroon for burial. Tonya Lashay Frame, 52, of Clyde Tx, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 28th, 2023, at Hendrick Hospice in Abilene, surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fountaingate Fellowship, 909 N Willis in Abilene, at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery. Tonya was born in Andrews, Texas, on Sept. 2nd, 1970, to Connie and Wayne Cole. She graduated from Early High School in 1989. During her high school years she enjoyed playing the tuba in the high school band and was a member of the Flag Core. Tonya married John Frame on May 28th, 1995, in Brownwood Tx. She enjoyed her life as a property manager, loved fishing, and would often send her husband John off to work with fresh breakfast tacos and homemade banana bread for the guys he worked with. What Tonya loved best was her family, and spending time with her granddaughters Rayli, Elaina, Jalynn, Nova, Tylar, and Gianna who were the highlight of her life. Tonya is survived by her husband John; sons Tyler Mathis and Fiance Kendall of Weatherford Tx, John Frame V of Clyde Tx and Sean Fuller and wife Sabra of Granbury Tx; daughter Kaylee Frame and Fiance Christopher Wheeler of Clyde Tx; her mother Connie Cole of Clyde; brothers Johnny Mathis and wife Kelly of Marshfield Wi and Joe Mathis and wife Linda of Granbury; sister Sonia Welch and husband Lee of Brownwood Tx; and a number of nieces and nephews.
