Jimmie Earl Condron, 89, passed away June 14, 2022 at Big Spring Center for Skilled Care at Big Spring, TX. He was born November 24, 1932 at the family farm near Avalon, Mo to Ralph Kirby and Ruby Leona (Perry) Condron. He was a member of Oakland Christian Church of Hale, MO and graduate of Avalon High School. He joined the Air force in the early 1950'sand while in the service he married Cora Mae Watson on June 20, 1952. To this union a daughter, Marcella Louisa Condron was born. Jimmie and Cora later divorced. After returning home he worked for many years at Midland Brick and Tile Co. of St. Joseph, MO and later in some of the oil fields of Texas, then many years at Walmart at Big Spring, retiring from there when he was in his eighties. He always enjoyed planting and raising a vegetable garden. Also had fruit trees and he loved to share the bounty of fruit and vegetables with his friends. Missouri held a special place in his heart. He always loved to come back to the farm where he grew up to spend time with family. His home for many years has been Big Spring and he leaves many special friends there that helped him so much in the last months of his life. Jimmie is survived by his daughter: Marcela Yeats and husband Richard of Borrego Springs, CA; sister: Patricia Pfaffly and husband Jerry of Amarillo, TX; and sister-in-law: Audrey Condron of Dawn, MO. Also, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister: Reva Condron and brothers: Ralph, Perry, Walter, Johnnie (Jimmie's twin) and Jerry Condron. Sister-in-laws: Rosa Condron and Charlotte Condron; and niece: Janice Condron. A celebration of Jimmie's life will be held at a later date in Missouri. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
