James "Jim" Yeske, age 70, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Born on Wednesday, February 18, 1953, in Lansing, Michigan, Jim was a man of deep integrity and selflessness who dedicated his life to serving others. Jim was the beloved son of the late Henry and Helen Yeske, and the cherished brother of the late Henry Yeske. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Beverly Yeske, his sons, Christopher Qualls, James Matthew Yeske (Brandi), and his brother, Robert Yeske. Jim was a loving grandfather to Tasha Qualls, Shawn Qualls, Devin Yeske, and Reese Yeske. He also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends. Jim proudly served in the United States Army. His analytical mind and tireless work ethic led him to a successful military career where he completed his masters degree. Upon retiring from the military, Jim continued to serve his community by working for the Transition Assistant program at Fort Knox, KY. His dedication to helping others transition from military to civilian life was a testament to his selfless nature. Despite his numerous accomplishments, Jim remained humble and grounded. His focus was always on his family, ensuring their happiness and well-being. He was a loving husband, a caring father, and a proud grandfather. Arrangements are pending.

Lundy Allen Van Duyn, 72, of Elizabethtown Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his home. He was born January 13, 1951, in Anderson, Indiana, to his parents, Sterle and Isabel Barrett Van Duyn. Allen was a skilled trades painter at Ford Motor Company, a volunteer firefighter for the city of Knightstown, a member of the Golden Rule Masonic Lodge #16 in Knightstown, Indiana, and a member of the Greensboro Church of Nazarene. He was a skilled carpenter, enjoyed wood working and made many cherished family heirlooms. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Blake Richardson; parents; in-laws, Robert and Edith Aulbach; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Tony Henry and sister- in- law, Audrey Aulbach. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Aulbach Van Duyn; sons, William Richardson (Amy), Brett Van Duyn (Kasie), Mark Richardson and Lundy Van Duyn (Jordan); daughters, Wendy Rhodes and Christina Van Duyn; brother, Hal Van Duyn (Cindy); sisters, Jeanette Merriman and Terry Low (Rusty); grandchildren, Kiesha Cline, Alisha Rhodes, Savannah Hopkins, Zora Coe, Taylor Mayeux, Lauryn Monasterio, McKenzie Van Duyn, Jadyn Van Duyn, Dylenn Van Duyn, Everleigh Van Duyn, Emma Richardson, Tinley Van Duyn, Abraham Van Duyn and Emmett Van Duyn; great-grandchildren, Silas Lane, Hope Cline, Isla Hopkins, Mitchel Mayeux and Walker Gill and brothers and sisters in law, Martin Aulbach (Donna), Mike Aulbach (KaAnn), Dave Aulbach (April), Susie Smith (Harry), Kenny Aulbach (Helen), Jim Aulbach (Kim), Tim Aulbach (Teresa), Mary Jane Booth (Joe), Becky Aulbach and Brenda Keith (Danny) and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Greenfield Church of Christ (1380 S. State Street Greenfield, Indiana 46140) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a service at 1:00 PM. Pearl Dean Harp Duvall, 90, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at her home. Dean had a long career working for Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in Memphis, TN before retiring. She was also a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, KY. In her free time she enjoyed traveling with her husband during his time in the military as well as playing slot machines and fishing. Dean deeply loved and cared for her family and will be remembered for this characteristic above all else. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Duvall; her parents, W. Hollie and Sylvia Harp; three brothers, Carl Harp, Roy Harp, Arlow Harp; and a sister, Lee Krkosska. She is survived by her two daughters, Frankie (Scott) Edwards of Bewleyville, KY and Terri Harper (Darrell Hall) of Vine Grove, KY; four siblings, Tuffy (Billie) Harp of Fayetteville, AR, Dale (Betty) Harp of Farmington, AR, Tony Harp of Bella Vista, AR and Jeannie (Rick) Mhoon of Farmington, AR; a sister-in-law, Virginia Harp from Springdale, AR; four grandchildren, Stacy Wolfe from OK, Albert Corbett from KY, Ryan (Samantha) Harper from KY and Stella (Jeremy) Harris from KY; six great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; two great-great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Keith D. Williams, 54, of St. Louis, MO. Keith passed away unexpectedly in his home, in Vine Grove, Ky, on October 23rd, 2023. Keith is survived by his two children: Zachary Williams and Caitlin Stewart, his two children-in-law: Lucy Williams and Brandon Stewart, his best friend and co-parent: Trish Vinson, his friend and co-parent: Sean Vinson, his bonus child, Alyssa Vinson, his brother: Kenneth Williams, his sister: Kimberly Carnal, and his two spoiled cats: Rona and Binks. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Keith was a father, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, and a nephew to a wonderful extended family. Keith was a Catholic, a veteran, an avid golfer, a bowler, and a trivia player. Floyd Thomas Ely, beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend was born on April 17, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky. He passed away on October 22, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Floyd was the cherished son of Ina Louise Dodson and Melvin Lee Ely Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his son, Gary Gene Ely, Sr. and seven siblings: Melvin "Pete" Ely, Gary Wayne Ely, Lisa Ely, Regina Moore, April Wright, Calvin Beeler, and Donna Edwards. Left to carry on Floyd's memory are his loving daughter, Crystal Moody (Chris) and his adored grandchildren: Noah Ely, Gary Ely, Jr. , Devin Moody, A'Kyah Johnson, Brian Woolfolk, David Moody (Harley), and Brittany Moody. He is also survived by six siblings: Rose Calvert, James Ely, John Ely, Gladys Meredith, Tina Terry, and Sandra Meredith. Floyd spent the majority of his life in Louisville before moving to Trimble County with his wife, Denise, in the early 1980s to raise their family. He dedicated many years of service to his career and eventually retired from Waffle House. Following his retirement, Floyd indulged in his passions for fishing, camping, playing cards, cooking, betting on horse races, sharing his love of music, and above all else, spending quality time with his loved ones. In 2019, Floyd relocated to Meade County to be closer to his children. The past few years, he resided at All About Home Assisted Living, where he formed deep connections with fellow residents, staff members, and visitors who became his extended family. His contagious laughter and warm presence brought joy to all of those around him. Floyd's spirit radiated with anticipation as he eagerly awaited the arrival of his first great-grandchild, due next week. Though he is no longer physically with us, his love and warm memories will forever live on in our hearts. Following his wishes, the family has chosen cremation. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held to honor his memory at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the chapel Hager Funeral Home. Sharon is survived by her son, Dwayne E. Lula R. Butler, Age 92, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky formerly of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday October 15, 2023 at the Tender Touch Senior Living Center in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Lula was born in Fitch, Kentucky October 22, 1930 to the late William and Julia Annette Edington Jordan. Lula was a lifelong farmer and homemaker. She loved to crochet and tend to her flowers and garden. She was a member of the 1068 Independent Church of Christ. Preceding her in death beside her parents was her husband Lewis Leslie Richmond in 1990. Sisters- Verna Smith, Cophine Keller, Naomi Littleton, Loretta Jordan, Isabella Henderson, Goldie Jordan, and Freida Carroll. Twin brother- Luther Jordan at birth.
