Bernice Darlene Martinez-Escobar gained her wings and went home to Jesus on December 2, 2023, at age 60. She was born to Margarita Silva and Leroy Martinez on November 18, 1963, in Denver, Colorado. Bernice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Bernice was preceded in her death by her beloved mother, Margarita Silva, God's parents, Mary Jane Trujillo, and John Trujillo, and her grandson Angelo Reyes. Bernice is survived by her husband Alfredo Escobar-Olguin, her children Amber Heguy, Gabriel Martinez, Christopher Escobar-Martinez, and Margarita Escobar-Martinez, her grandchildren Nydia Reyes, Orlando Reyes, Jayciano Escobar, Nikki Nieto and Emiliano Mascarenas, by her twin sister Bernadette Marquez-Pena, sister Wanda Venegas, and brothers Bryan Silva, David Martinez and Valentine Martinez, her nieces Angelica Cruz-Martinez, Nicole Martinez, Elizabeth Martinez, Amelia Martinez, Isabella Martinez, Cassandra Venegas, and Lenna Rae Duran and her nephews Herardo Venegas, Taylor Venegas, Jesus Martinez, David Martinez, Josias Martinez, son-in-law Orlando Reyes-Avianeda, sister-in-law Tammy Allmer and brother-in-law Everardo Venegas, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who all loved her dearly. 74, passed away on Dec. 2, 2023. She was born in Hayden, Colo. on Jan. 29, 1949, to Harold Punches and LaVergne Eatinger. She worked as a real estate broker for several decades in the Denver metro area and for several more years in the Pueblo area. She enjoyed reading biographies, gardening, and game nights with family and friends. She was a generous, loving, humorous, and kind woman that will be so missed. She is survived by her husband, Paul; sister, Marty Brens; daughters, Jennifer (Jeff) Niblo and Amy (Juan) Mancha; grandchildren, Josh Mancha, Adrianna (Kendrick) Gillard, Jake Niblo, and Bella Mancha; one great-grandchild, Brady Cole Gillard; brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. Cremation in the Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a. m. 50, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2023. He was born on August 29, 1973, in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Preceded in death by his grandfather "Gramps," Raymond Burgess; grandmother "Gran," Madge "Peggy" Burgess; aunts, uncles, and two cousins. Raymond is survived by Joni Hecker and her family; son, Russell (Tara) Hughes; mother, Becky Hughes; sister, Melanie Casey; one niece; one great niece; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Raymond graduated from Job Core for Welding. He moved to Dalhart, Texas, and worked in Agriculture then returned home to Colorado and pursued a career as a long welder at CS Winds/Vestas and was employed for 10 years. Raymond enjoyed cooking for himself and others using his barbeque/smoker. He enjoyed listening to music on his stereo and enjoyed having wood fires at night with Joni and their fur babies. He loved playing pool and target shooting with his son, Russell. He loved being with Joni and their family at gatherings and always enjoyed the time he shared with the grandbabies. He also liked hanging out with a few close friends and attending races and concerts. There will not be a service. Cremation in the Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. 80, was born on July 14, 1943, in Leadville, Colo. , and passed away on Dec. 3, 2023, in Pueblo, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Lil Koski of Pueblo; and brothers, Kenneth Koski and Duane Koski. Sherry is survived by her husband, Jack Selway; nephews, Scott and Brett Koski, and their children; nieces, Sarah Harmon and Laura Mankin and their children; numerous cousins and friends; and she loved her cats, Bunny, Wheeze, and Mimi. Sherry graduated from Pueblo Central High School class of 1961. She received her nursing certificate from St. Mary-Corwin School of Nursing and then worked at UC Denver Medical Center. In 1967, she traveled to San Francisco and worked at UC San Francisco, soon after she joined the VA Medical Center, in San Francisco, where she served until 1998. She was a steady and reliable worker for all of her life, becoming Associate Chief of Nursing for a large part of the VA hospital. Sherry had many longtime friends, from school, nursing, and church. She was an accomplished cook and often entertained with lavish home parties. She traveled the world and lived a full life. Viewing, 9 a. m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023. Judith Kay Wright was born December 10, 1945, to Howard Theodore and Edna Sara Donley. She graduated from Rye High School in 1964. Judy married William "Bill" Wright on August 4, 1965, and began raising a family. Judy spent her entire life on the farm and ranch and loved watching all sports, even golf! She received her cosmetology license and spent many hours fixing hair for everyone. She went on to drive a school bus for District 70 for many, many, many years. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her brothers, Wayne and Jerry Donley; her children, Jamie (Mike) Adkins and Chad (Jodi) Wright. Also survived by her grandchildren Clayton (Larissa) Peacock, Maegan (Dom) Perkins, and Zachory Adkins. And the highlight of her life over the last four years is the addition of her five great-grandchildren; Paisley and Wyatt Peacock and Everleigh, Conner, and Cameron Perkins. We welcome family and friends on her 78th birthday, Sunday, December 10, 2023, from noon to 4 PM at 6360 Burnt Mill Road, Beulah, CO to celebrate the life of our strong-willed, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all on the family ranch where she spent her life feeding cows, chasing cows, and fixing fence.
