Jim Meagher Obituary

James Lawrence "Jim" Meagher, 81, husband of 58 years to Patricia English Meagher, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Anderson. Born September 2, 1941 in Cincinnati to the late James L. , Sr. & Coletta Annamary Riesenback Meagher, he was a proud U. S. Army veteran and a longtime employee of H. B. Fuller. Never one to be sedentary, Jim enjoyed working as a security officer during his retirement. His favorite things to do were watch the Cincinnati Reds & Bengals and spend time with his family, especially his grandsons. Additional survivors include his daughter, Brandi Meagher, of Cincinnati; 2 brothers, Jerry (Gloria) Meagher, of Taylor Mill, and Donnie Meagher, of Florence; 3 sisters: Phyllis Berling, of Edgewood, Janet Meagher, of Walton, and Mary Meagher, of Erlanger; and 4 grandsons: Zachary James Meagher, Alexander Roger Meagher, Patrick Michael Damen & Jeremiah Scott Damen, along with several nieces & nephews. Also preceding him in death were a son, James Edward "Jimmy" Meagher; a brother, Tom Meagher; and a sister, Linda Meagher. Following cremation, Jim will be inurned on the family lot in the Batavia-Union Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00-4:00 P.
