"CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA - Jewell Dawn Keen, 52, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at her home. She was born in Lebanon, Virginia; the daughter of the late Louis Rosico and Lillie Dawn Kiser Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marie Cook; one granddaughter, Addyson Stanley; and step-father, Larry Herndon. Jewell loved being outdoors looking for dry land fish and going fishing. She loved to cook but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved fiance, Rex Ireson; three children, Tabitha Turner and wife, Ashley of Johnson City, Tennessee, Anthony Turner and wife, Bethany of Wise, Virginia, and Amanda Hall-Stanley and husband, Travis of Dante, Virginia; three grandchildren, Gabriel Robinson, Jaycee Turner, Atlas Stanley, and another baby boy due September 2023; and one sister, Charm Barker of Lebanon, Virginia. Graveside Services and Interment for Jewell Dawn Keen will be conducted at 11:00 a. m. , Friday, May 12, 2023, at Kiser-Phillips Cemetery, in the Flat-Spur Section of Dante, Virginia with Rev. Scott Million officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Travis Stanley, Wayne Herndon, Darrell Rasnake, Larry Lowe, Scott Sutherland, and Stevie Rasnick. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rex Ireson, Gabriel Robinson, and Sammy Hawkins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p. m. until 7:00 p. m. , Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
