Mr. Jessie Ira Jones, 29, of Trout, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, in Winnfield, Louisiana. He was born on April 29, 1994, in Urania, Louisiana, and was a resident of Trout. Jessie was known for his love of motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He was also a talented tattoo artist and enjoyed spending time expressing his creativity through drawing. Above all, he cherished his role as a father and was deeply devoted to his son. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles King, paternal grandfather, Dale Jones, and cousin, Jessica Otwell. Jessie is survived by his son, Alton Ray Bonnett, his parents, Rodney Glenn Jones (Amanda) of Trout, Louisiana, and Nancy King Hightower (Philip) of Eros, Louisiana, and his paternal grandmother, Elaine Jones. He is also survived by his siblings, Nikki Atkins (Jerred), Bubba Hightower, Brittany Witherington (Ben), Matthew Jones (Emilie), Patrick Hightower (Destiny), Delaney Arrington (Koby), and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in the chapel at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield. Born Thursday, December 23, 1965 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Spears. If you knew Maria, you knew her laugh. She loved her family, children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews immensely and loved cooking and having a good time with her loved ones surrounding her. Mr. John T. Williams, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at the age of 83. He was born on Friday, August 16, 1940, in Winnfield, LA, to Gresham and Lessie Moffett Williams. John T. was a resident of Atlanta, LA, where he led a rich and meaningful life surrounded by the love of family and friends. Although his physical presence is no longer with us, his memory will be held close to the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy will endure for generations. Mr. Williams worked as a logger and drove a log truck until his retirement. He loved spending time with his family and fishing on Saline Lake. His grandkids thought he was a big teddy bear and gave the best hugs. John T. didn't want for much, but he sure did love his wife, Nelda. He missed her so deeply, that he decided to join her in heaven on her birthday. Miss Peyton Shyann McAllister, age 12 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023. Born Saturday, November 27, 2010 in Natchitoches, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Pat Lawson; uncles, Vivan Lawson and Chad Lawson. Peyton was a seventh grader at Winnfield Middle School and loved all animals, especially cats, as well as her stuffed animals. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Crystal D. Lawson; father, Jason McAllister; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Deanna Lawson; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Judy McAllister; siblings, Madison McAllister, Canaan Ellis and Aiden Ellis; uncles, Bobby Lawson (Janis) and Danny McAllister; aunt, Lacy Nygun (Tu). She was born on Friday, August 20, 1948, to the late Clifford Jackson Sharbono and Vivian Marie Sharbono in Winnfield, Louisiana. Mrs. Yelverton's passions included fishing, cultivating flowers, crocheting, and, above all, creating cherished memories with her beloved grandchildren. Mrs. Yelverton was a dedicated member of the Beulah Baptist Church, where her faith played a central role in shaping her life. Nadine is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Jackson Sharbono, mother, Vivian Marie Sharbono, brother, Bobby Sharbono, and her first husband, Carroll Funk, Sr. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bobby Yelverton of Atlanta, Louisiana, and leaves behind a legacy that will be treasured by her children, Sheila Hattaway (Randy), Sandy Coleman, and Carroll Funk Jr. Her grandchildren - Brittany, Amy, Clayton, Zachary, Dustin, Tyler, Tracy, and Selena - will carry forward the love she showered upon them. Mr. Elres Ray Ehrman, age 51 of Winnfield, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Elres was preceded in death by his father, Earl Futrell; mother, Barbara Jean Ehrman; brother, Alan Ehrman; nephew, Hunter Hayes; and soulmate, Tonia Laysone. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betsy Ehrman; his girlfriend, Laicon Purvis; sons, Tyler Ehrman and Jeremiah Futrell (Ava); daughters, Samantha McManus (Tyler) and Jami Futrell (Tobie Sanders); grandchildren, Raylee, Kenlee, Hagen, Dustin, Tristan, Olivia, Westin, Elliott, Bentlee and Carter; brothers, Bobby Ehrman and Bill Ehrman; sisters, Jeannie Johnson (Bubby), Rose Williamson, and Cathy Jeansonne (Kenny); and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Joseph Edwin Kelley, 74, of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was born on Saturday, October 30, 1948, and his passing marks the end of a life well-lived and cherished by those who knew him. Joseph was born in Winnfield, Louisiana, and spent the his first 20 years and his last 20 years in this tight-knit community. He spent the majority of the years in between in Alaska. He was the beloved son of the late Edwin Matthew Kelley and Bertice Annie Martin Kelley, who predeceased him. Mr. Kelley was an active member, deacon, and Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church of Winnfield. He was currently employed with the Winn Parish Sheriff's Office. Joseph enjoyed riding his bicycle and woodworking, and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and "DaDa" to his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by a loving family, including his devoted wife of 50 years, Patricia Gail Kelley, and their daughter, Alaina Joy Kelley. Joseph was also a doting grandfather to Joseph Brant Kelley and Brylie Lain. Visitation for Mr. Joseph Edwin Kelley will be held at the First Baptist Church in Winnfield, Louisiana, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, providing an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects. Marion was a devout Christian who found joy in helping others through her work as a licensed professional counselor in behavioral health care. She pursued her passion for helping people by obtaining her bachelor's degree in 1998 from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and later earned her Master's Degree in 2013 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
