Jesús Biagtan Obituary

Jesus S. Biagtan, 86, entered eternal rest on May 3, 2023, to join with his beloved wife Adelina. Born in the Philippines and graduated from architecture college, he, his wife, and his four children emigrated to the U. S. A. in 1969 where he worked as an architect and structural engineer throughout his years of employment. Jesus leaves behind his children, Sarah Lamkin (Kevin), Thomas, Emmanuel (Elsie), and Anne Marie Young; grandchildren Simone and Olivia Young, William and Samantha Lamkin and Abigail Biagtan. He is also survived by his siblings, Lidwina Ferrer, Ester Dizon, Elena Amor, Cecilia Zarate, Angelina Pacis, Myra Santos, and Elizabeth Fernandez. Jesus was a Catholic by faith and was a member of the St. Bartholomew Church since 1974, when his family settled in Louisville. Visitation is Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 4-8PM, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bartholomew , 2042 Buechel Bank Rd, on Monday May 15, 2023 at 10AM, followed by entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Jesus wishes donations to be made to St. Bartholomew Church.
