Jerry Lee Sill, 82, of Rockford, Ohio passed away on October 05, 2023 at Divine Nursing and Rehab at Shane Hill. He was born on October 27, 1940, in Rockford, son of the late Charles "Bill" W. Sill and Bessie (Bienz) Sill. On August 19, 1961, he married the former Marjorie A. Amstutz, who survives. Together, they shared years of memories. Jerry was a graduate of Rockford High School. He worked at the Rockford Press, as well as the Van Wert Times-Bulletin as a linotype operator for many years. Jerry then went on to work at Eaton/Aeroquip until retirement in 2003. Jerry was an avid amateur radio operator in his early adult years. His handle was WB8AUC. He was also an active member of New Horizons Community Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian L. (Sharon) Sill of Libertyville, Illinois; a daughter, Monica R. (Pat) Agler of Van Wert, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick) Burker, Spencer (Courtney) Moody, Matthew (Lorenda) Sill, Amy (Luke) Loudenslagel, and Jeremy Sill; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley D. Sill. Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 13, 2023 at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 W. First Street, Rockford, Ohio 45882 with Pastor Todd Moser officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33 Rockford, OH 45882. Family and friends will be received Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Lucille V. Zizelman, 90, of Rockford, Ohio, peacefully passed away on November 30, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 13, 1933, in Mendon, Ohio, to loving parents, the late Dean and Grace (Coil) Felver. Lucille graduated in 1951 from Rockford High School. She worked for three years at Van Fleet Drug Store in Rockford. Lucille then went on to work for over 35 years at Huffy's Bicycle in Celina until retirement. She took immense pride in her work and was admired for her unwavering dedication and strong work ethic. She was a member at Rockford United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Rockford United Methodist Church Women's Association. Lucille enjoyed playing pinochle, as well as other card games. She also enjoyed her taking care of her flower gardens and showing others her flowers, especially her lilies. But most of all, Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family. Lucille will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Dale Zizelman, whom she married June 30, 1951. Their love was a shining example of commitment and devotion, lighting the way for all who knew them. Also surviving are one son, Mark Alan (Kathy) Zizelman of Celina; one daughter, Vicki (Barry) Clay of Celina; two brothers, Ronald Felver of Celina, and Denny (Paula) Felver of Hamilton, Indiana; one sister, Connie (Larry) Snyder of Cincinnati; five grandchildren, Ryan Clay of Rockford, Brent (Nikki) Clay of Celina, Melissa (Luke) Minnich of Rockford, Corey (Garratt) Zizelman of Columbus, and Kyle (Julie) Zizelman of Washington State; and eleven great grandchildren, Camdyn, Cooper, Makynlie, Maylie, Holden, Hudsen, Sienna, Kruz, Taylor, Trevor, and Adeline. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Dale Zizelman; and her sister-in-law, Lois Felver. Fondly remembered for her warm and kind spirit, Lucille leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her surviving family members and friends. Though we mourn her loss, we take solace in knowing that she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. To honor the beautiful life of Lucille V. Zizelman, funeral services will be held at the Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home on December 5, 2023. The visitation will commence at 11:00 am, giving friends and family an opportunity to pay their final respects and share their fondest memories of Lucille. Craig Eugene Meyer, 75, of Rockford, OH passed away on September 03, 2023 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born on May 18, 1948, in Celina, OH to the late Paul and Mary Ellen (Putman) Meyer. Craig was a graduate of Parkway High School. After graduation, he joined the U. S. Army. Upon discharge from the Army, Craig worked at New Idea in Coldwater, OH, then Huffy's in Celina, OH. He last worked as a delivery driver for Schwan's until retirement. Craig was a member of the Tri State Engine Club and the National Muzzleloading Association. He was also a member of the Rockford American Legion Post #508, where he was the past post commander. He enjoyed woodworking and he loved to camp and to hunt. Craig also dearly loved watching Nascar, with his favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. Surviving are his fiancee, Ilona Zizelman of Rockford, OH; six children, Ken (Pam) Meyer of Rockford, OH, Jeff (Jennifer) Meyer of Huntington, IN, Jeremiah (Crystal) Meyer of West Liberty, Kentucky, Josh (Becky) Meyer of Minster, OH, Melissa (John) Creps of Lima, OH, and Ricky Dean (Katie) Zizelman, Jr. of Delphos, OH; two brothers, Kevin (Mary) Meyer and Marvin (Tammy) Meyer, both of Celina; thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was born on July 18, 1955 in Lima, Ohio to Jimmie Liles Sr. and Helen (Lindsay) Liles. Both parents preceded her in death. Jeanie was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and was known for having a powerful singing voice. She loved to sing and listen to music from her favorite artist Aretha Franklin. Although singing was her passion, her family was her heart. She loved her grandchildren fiercely and enjoyed spending time with them. Her enchanting voice, and loving spirit will be greatly missed. Joseph Daniel Steiner, 31, of Rockford, OH, passed away on January 25, 2023 from a motor vehicle accident after spending 10 days in the ICU. Born on October 5, 1991, to parents Daniel and Shirley (Isbell) Steiner, also of Rockford, Joe was an incredibly creative person. He graduated from Ohio State University Lima with an Associate Degree in Art and Minor in Mythology. From a young age, he spent his free time creating fantastical universes for table top gaming. He would share these campaigns with his friends and wife, his high school sweetheart. Joe loved spending time with his dog, Cavall, and was never shy about going on an adventure. He was a caring and thoughtful husband, son, uncle, and friend who was well loved. Joe is survived by his wife, Rebecca Fox Steiner, who is the daughter of Mike and Nikki (Sapp) Fox of Rockford, and his parents, Daniel and Shirley. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Mary (Enyart) Steiner, and his maternal grandparents, Elvie and Mozell (Davis) Isbell. As his last selfless act, Joe chose to give the gift of life to many through tissue donation. In accordance to Joe's final wishes, there will be no funeral planned. Nedra Ellen Schrader, 81, of Van Wert passed away at 7:05 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Hearth and Home of Van Wert. She was born on July 12, 1941, in Van Wert, to Carl E. and Wanda I. (Girod) Wise. On September 2, 1961, she married James H. Schrader. Nedra worked as a dental assistant to Dr. Robert Saunier, in Van Wert, for over 35 years. Nedra was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert. She was a member, and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star- Van Wert Chapter, was a former mother advisor of the Rainbow for Girls and the past District 8 Deputy Grand Matron. She enjoyed camping with her family and spending the winters in Florida for many years. Surviving are her husband, James H. Schrader of Van Wert; sons, James H. (Sylvia) Schrader II of Saginaw, Texas, Christopher A. (fiance: Donna Schuerman) Schrader of Van Wert and Scott R. (Tricia) Schrader of Urbana, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. On August 07, 1977, he married the love of her life, Kenneth Hill. Together, they shared many years of memories. A 1964 graduate of Van Wert High School, Carolyn went on to work as an inspector at Kennedy Manufacturing, retiring after 34 years. She enjoyed crocheting and needle point, and in her younger years was an avid bowler. She and Ken attended First United Brethren in Christ Church in Van Wert.
