Jerry Olliff Obituary

Elizabeth, IndianaJerry L. Olliff, 84, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at his home in Elizabeth, Indiana. He was born September 3, 1938, in Portal, Georgia, the son of George Orie Olliff and Geraldine Ellis Sauls. He was an Army Vietnam Veteran of the 101st Airborne Division. Jerry retired from Rohm & Haas. Since retiring he documented retirees for Rohm & Haas. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, working on his boat, and was very interested in genealogy. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lillie Kate Olliff, and brother, Henry Grayson Olliff. He is survived by 4 daughters, Anita Mathes, of Elizabeth, Indiana, Beverly Brock (Terry), Palmyra, Indiana, Barbara L. Anderson, of Elizabeth, Indiana, and Lorie Reed of Indianapolis, Indiana; son, Devery Bruce Olliff, of Jefffersonville, Indiana; brother, David Felton Olliff, of Savannah, Georgia; 12 grandchildren, Andrea, J. , Julia, Genna, Sierra, Nikki, Skyler, Ike, Brady, Cameron, Gavin, and Gunner; and 2 great grandchildren, Dorian, and Bailey. The funeral service will be at 1 PM, Friday, May 12th at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Jerry's granddaughter, Genna Brock will officiate. The visitation will be Thursday, May 11 from 1 PM to 8 PM and again on Friday from 11 AM until the time of service.
