She lived for her family and friends and used faith and Christianity as the glue that bound them. Becky could be found on ski slopes until she was 69, in the New Mexico mountains with lifelong friends, traveling to stock shows as a mom, playing the piano in her church, finding grandchildren events to attend, or disappearing to College Station to watch her Aggies on the weekend. Mixed in her travels, she finished her degree from Texas Tech at the top of her class.
