Jerry Crane Obituary

Jerry Eugene Crane, the son of the late Herbert Eugene "Jr" Crane and Mary Victoria Provance Crane, was born January 26, 1942, in Peach Orchard, MO. He was a charter member and deacon of the Tatum Chapel General Baptist Church in Peach Orchard, MO. He retired from Bradshaw Funeral Home after 19 years. On March 2, 1960, in Peach Orchard, MO, he was united in marriage to Annette Sue Freeman. She survives. Mr. Crane died Sunday, September 10, 2023, in Jonesboro, AR, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 15 days. He is survived by his wife, Sue Crane of Kennett, Mo; 1 son, Scotty Eugene Crane and wife, Shelly of Jackson, MO; 2 daughters, Shawny Jerretta Blake and husband, Scott of Campbell, MO and Tori Annette Gibbons and husband, Lawrence of Gosnell, AR; 4 brothers, Ranny Crane and wife, Vickie of Kennett, MO, Steven Crane and wife, Luann of Chatsworth, GA, Frank Crane and wife, Pam of Fredricktown, MO and Mark Crane and wife, Virginia of Greenville, MO; 2 sisters, Joslyn Payne and Carolyn Elder and husband, Robert both of Greenville, MO; 6 grandchildren, Chantel Buchanan and husband, Ben, Sasha Blake, Jerred Crane and wife, Rachel, Jordan Ratliff and husband, Clayton, Tyler Gibbons and wife, Mackenzie and Nicholas Gibbons; 4 great grandchildren, Storie Buchanan, Shylor Buchanan, Callen Ratliff, Baby G on the way and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Susie Crane, Mary Ella Hopper and Anna Leigh White and 1 sister, Lanny Crane. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 11:00 A. M. , at Bradshaw Chapel in Kennett, MO. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P. M. , in the chapel, with Reverend Scott Crane and Steven Crane. Burial will be in the Mt.
