Jerald Bruce Woods, 75, of Toledo, Ohio died on Friday, April 19, 2019 at his home. He was born in Toledo on August 4, 1943 to Floyd Hal and Nadine ( Eicher) Woods. Jerald was a truck driver with Penske. He was a Union Steward with the Teamsters Local 20 and very instrumental in bringing the union to Penske. Jerry was a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating several business including a nightclub, gas stations, motel and ice cream parlor. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed shooting with his friends. He was a hard working, proud, honest family man who took pleasure in camping, cookouts, spending time with friends, working and could often be looked up to for advice. Jerald spent a lot of time on projects and building things with his grandson Tyler and took comfort with his pets, Puffy and Cocoa. He will be dearly missed and was a good person to all. Jerald is survived by his daughters, Teressa Stanley, Tina Thorpe, Tammy Booth, Tabatha Letson and Jerri Woods; numerous) grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Floyd "Porky"; and brother, Hal Woods. Visitation will be held at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 West Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43623 on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 2 until 8 p.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Rev.
