Cecelia K. Healey, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on October 16, surrounded by her devoted family. She is survived by her children and their respective spouses, Kathleen Healey and Charles Crawford, Michael and Kelly Healey, and her grandchildren, Robert and Cecelia Crawford. She was born in Philadelphia in 1940 to an Irish-Catholic family and raised in Camden County, N. J. , along with her sister, Karen. She admired and adored her parents, William and Cecelia, and often spoke of her happy childhood. Cecelia met her husband, Henry Healey, at a Fourth of July party in 1966, and they were married in November of the same year. Always together, they were inseparable until his passing in 2015. The most important thing to Cecelia was her family, whom she loved dearly. Cecelia and her beloved "Harry" lived in several states before moving to Merritt Island, Florida, where they made a home for more than 20 years. She had a passion for gardening and was fond of relaxing by the pool while reading a good book. Cecelia was dedicated to the Catholic Church and faithfully attended mass on Sundays. A member of the Moose and Elks club, Cecelia formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care (reflectionslsc. org); an organization that provides compassionate services to those needing palliative and hospice care. A Catholic mass for Cecelia will be held on November 21, 2023, at 10:30 a. m. at the Church of Our Savior in Cocoa Beach, followed by a reception. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a. m. prior to the mass.Show more
