Jeffrey Paul Upton, 61, of Landrum, SC, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at his home Born in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Paul Ross and Mary Ruth Upton Jeffrey enjoyed being outdoors, music, and great food, especially his sweet tea He was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church Surviving are a son, Brandon Upton (Lecretia); two brothers, Phillip and Carey (Angie); two grandchildren, Amber and Cadance Sullivan Also surviving are several nieces and nephews A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, October 9, 2023 at Ingleside Baptist Church The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00pm prior to the service To to the family, please

Linda Ann Campbell Revan, 71, of Landrum, passed away on December 7th 2023. She was the daughter of the late Curtis Oliver and Ruby Mae Parris Campbell and the wife of the late William Bobby Revan. Linda was raised in Christmas, Florida before relocating to the upstate as a young woman. Throughout her life Linda held many different professions, from working in Drayton Mill to owning R&R Carpets. In her final days, you could find her beautiful, smiling face in the deli at Ingles. Over the last 71 years, Linda made many friends that have become like family to her. To know her was to truly love her. She is survived by her sons, Lee Grant (Melissa) and Ryan Revan (April); her daughter, Kelly Morris (Lance); a step son, Robby Revan; a stepdaughter, Shirrel Burgess (Rembert); twenty grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a special niece, Amy Seppala (Brian) and family. She was also survived by a best friend Darlene Talley, who was like a sister to her. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Oliver Campbell and a sister, Janice Robinson. Linda was a member of Dependent Baptist Church. Her unwavering faith in the Lord provided her with solace in knowing exactly where she'd go when she took her final breath. It was Linda's desire that everyone she knew came to know her Jesus, so that they could spend eternity in heaven with her. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00PM Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home located at 124 North Trade Avenue Landrum, SC . Jean Carruth Plumley Boyce passed away on November 24, 2023. Jean was born on June 28, 1940 to Brooks Griffin Carruth and James Ferguson Carruth. She lived in Landrum her entire life. Jean graduated from Landrum High School and received her associate degree in nursing from USC Upstate in 1977. Working as a registered nurse was a true calling for Jean. She loved her job at Landrum Medical Center. After her retirement, she volunteered for Hospice of the Carolina Foothills and for Meals on Wheels. Jean was a longtime member of Landrum First Baptist Church where she volunteered in many capacities. She loved her Dorcas Sunday School class. Many people including family, friends and strangers experienced Jeans kind, caring, and giving nature. Jean is survived by her husband John Boyce and her stepdaughter Lori Boyce of Landrum. She is also survived by her daughter Susan Plumley Pickren (Jim) of Chattanooga, her granddaughters Elizabeth Pickren Sanders (Josh) of Chattanooga and Jennifer Pickren Murnan (Sean) of Chattanooga. Precious great grandsons are Keller Lovett Murnan, Max Griffin Sanders, and another due in 2024. Jean is also survived by her sisters Betty Pryor of Inman and Frances Smith of Tryon. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Plumley, her sister Harriette Burns and her brother Jerry Carruth. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Monday, November 27, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm - 3:00pm prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff of White Oak Manor of Tryon for their love and care over the last four years.
