Jeffrey A. Nadu, Sr. , 59 of Wrightsville passed away October 4, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. In the end, Jeff was so blessed to be at home hand in hand with his beloved wife Patti and his children by his side. Jeff was the devoted, loving and adored husband of Patricia Stipe Nadu and a patient, supportive and caring father to his three children, Jeffrey A. Nadu, Jr. , Leah C. Nadu and Quinn A. Nadu, husband of Rebekah. He also had a very special and loving relationship with his niece Meagan Hall, her husband Adam and their three children Ava, Sophia and Carter Hall. Jeff was born in Johnstown, PA and was the son of the late Joseph G. Nadu Sr. and Frances Konsavich Nadu and was one of fifteen children. At the age of 18, Jeff met the love of his life, Patti and they shared 41 years together building their beautiful family. Anyone who knew Jeff knew that Patti and his children were the most important things in his life and he would go to the ends of the earth to make them happy. It would be commonplace that even after an 80 hour work week on the construction site, he would always come home with a smile on his face and a kiss for his wife. Jeff was the owner of Millwood Homes, LLC and built over 400 homes for families throughout York and Lancaster Counties. He took immense pride in his work as a home builder and known for his attention to detail. Prior to Millwood Homes, he was a master level mason and owned Valley Masonry, Inc. Not only was he a respected leader, he was a patient teacher, mentor and friend to his many employees and teams on the job site and he considered them to be a valuable part in his personal success. The family spent many summers in Ocean City, New Jersey in the several homes that Jeff had so much pride in building for them. The memories, experiences, and time together will be forever cherished. Over the years, Jeff and Patti were hosts at their home for dozens of family and friends for dinners, July 4th camp-out weekends, pool parties, their famous Fall-Fests, birthdays, celebrations and yearly Holiday gatherings. That passion for bringing everyone together became the inspiration in restoring and opening Historic Ashland: one of the largest award-winning event venues in York. Ashland was very near and dear to Jeff's heart and brought his more than 40 years of building experience and love of all things historic to life. He spent countless hours there creating and constantly improving his vision of a space that brings people together. Anyone that met Jeff throughout life was surely to leave a better person because of him. Jeff was generous with his time and many talents; He was always the man to call for anything. He leaves behind a legacy built on the tenants of hard work, love for family and an understanding of what is truly important in this world. He will be truly missed by his family and everyone he considered a friend. Anyone that would like to visit with Jeff's family is invited to Historic Ashland, 6219 Lincoln Highway, Wrightsville, PA 17368 on Thursday, October 12, 2023 beginning at 4:00 p. m. with a time of remembrance service to follow at 6:00 p. m.
