Obituary of Jeffrey Mills Jeffrey Lane Mills, age 56 of Idabel, OK passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Paris, TX. He was born on July 14, 1962 in Idabel, OK, the son of James and Mary Crowell Mills. Jeff was a 1980 graduate of Haworth High School. Jeff was a pipeliner and worked for Sheehan Pipelining for over 25 years. An avid outdoorsman he loved hunting, fishing, and working with his tractor on his place at Messer, OK. He was a member of the Bypass Church of Christ and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his father, James Mills; and a grandson, Paxton Mills. Jeff is survived by his mother, Mary Mills of Idabel, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Kirbi Mills and soon to be granddaughter, Baby Mills of Yukon, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Clint Bullock of Talihina, OK; nephews, Josh Bullock and Kobe Bill both of Talihina, OK; aunt and uncle, Geraldine and Donald Bates of the Goodwater Community, OK; cousins, Suzanne Bates, Donnie Bates, Mark Monday, Keith Monday and Kevin Monday; special friends, Billy Bob Wolf and Jeanette of Idabel, OK; several other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Wayne Warren officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the OU Children's Hospital in memory of Paxton Mills.
