William Randall "Randy" Russell Age 73Of: New Johnsonville, Tennessee passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023. Randy was born September 3, 1949, in Sheffield, Alabama, to Edward Clinton "Bill" Russell and Betty Joyce Vaughn Russell. He was married to Mary Jean Chisholm Russell. He was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church in New Johnsonville, Tennessee. Randy was a retired Major and veteran from the United States Army and Tennessee National Guard, having served for 26 years. He was a retired Unit Operator for Tennessee Valley Authority in New Johnsonville, Tennessee, He was a member and Master Mason at Caldwell Lodge #273 in New Johnsonville, Tennessee. Randy enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports. He loved watching U. T. Vols on television and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. He especially loved going to Florida, watching the ocean waves, and eating seafood.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, and 11:00am – 1:00pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Masonic Service will be held at 7:00pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Randy Russell will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Adam Mullinax will be officiating the service.
Interment will follow in the J. Warren Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN, with full Military Honors.
