Jeffery Grogan Obituary

Mr. Jeffery Wayne Grogan, age 55, of Rome, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at a local hospital. Mr. Grogan was born in Trion, GA, on July 26, 1967, son of Mr. James Alvin Grogan and Mrs. Joyce Grogan. He worked at Holston Gases where he installed and filled propane tanks and CO2 tank systems. Mr. Grogan enjoyed watching Westerns with his wife and in his younger days was a dirt track racer and also raced R. C. Cars. His true passion was playing golf and taking care of his plethora of chickens. Mr. Grogan was a member of Stonebridge Golf Club. Survivors include his wife, Susan Healy Grogan, Rome, to whom he was married in 1995; 2 sons, Jason Stafford (Darinda), and Michael Warren (Marissa); 6 grandsons, Eric, Jagger, Swade, Mikiyah, Aiden and Tucker; 3 granddaughters, Adeline, Victoria and Olive; a great-grandson, Aiden; 4 siblings, Sherry Grogan Spencer (Stacy), Leon Grogan (Tammy), Tina Grogan Woods and Hannah Grogan Davis; nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Rome Memorial Park, South. His sons, Jason and Michael, will officiate the service. Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, has charge of funeral arrangements.
