Jeanette Evans Smith is the 4th child of Clinton and Ella Louise Evans, celebrated by her older siblings Clinton, Joe, Louise and baby sister Doris. Founded on love, she and her husband Algie Smith built a life for themselves and gifted the world with three sons. As dedicated wife, mother and career women, Jeanette worked diligently as a nurse caring not only for her own family but for the well being of others. Moving forward from nursing Jeanette found great satisfaction and excitement training new to market and overseas employees for companies like nextel and sprint. As a working mother Jeanette was constantly on the move. She enjoyed the places her career sent her and the communities she was able to serve, but what she enjoyed most, was being a grandmother. Over the course of her career she took several very special breaks to be the caretaker of her grandchildren prior to their enrollments in preschool, carefully molding, grooming and ensuring their confidence, social grace and academic ability. She loved nothing more than cooking tiny pancakes, reading storybooks and playing memory with her grand babies. An amazing wife, mother, sister and friend to many, the light shone on all of us by Jeanette has keep us warm and will continue to shine through her husband Algie, her sons Algie jr (Danielle), Arron (Ursula) and Michael (Natasha), her grandchildren, Bobbi Shante, Destiny, Aalajah, Justyce, Akaiya, Serenity, Noah, Asia, Camren and Xavion and her great grand children Deonte, India, Aaron and Austin.
