Jeane Herndon Obituary

Jeane Herndon, age 97, of Cottondale, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Herndon Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Agee (Randall) and son, David Herndon; grandchildren, Graham Agee (Megan) and Leslie Agee. Jeane was married to her husband, Frank, for 59 years. She spent many years in Pennsylvania before retiring back to Alabama. She owned 2 book stores located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She was an avid reader. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are Heritage Health Care and Rehab and the caring nurses on Station 4. A graveside service for Jeane will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
