JB "Bo" Osborne, Jr , a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023, in his hometown of Corpus Christi Born on December 8, 1948, Bo was a true Corpus Christi native who loved his community and lived his entire life in the city he called home Bo was a man of integrity and strength, known for his dedication and commitment to his family, friends, and community His work ethic was unmatched, and his influence was felt by all who knew him Always ready to lend a helping hand, Bo was a pillar of strength and a beacon of hope to many In his leisure time, Bo loved playing horseshoes His competitive spirit and love for the game brought joy and laughter to many gatherings He was also a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and he never missed a game His passion for the team was infectious, and his enthusiasm was shared by his entire family Above all, Bo cherished the time spent with his family and friends His love for them was evident in his actions and his words, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him Bo was preceded in death by his parents, JB Osborne Sr and Modina Patton; his stepfather, Pat Patton; Sister in-law, Lynette Osborne; and his brother, Bill Osborne He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Ute Lazette Osborne; and their children, Tracie Osborne, Tina Osborne, Anthony Sanchez, and Shannel Sanchez He also leaves behind his brothers, Ronnie Osborne and Karry Patton; his nephews, Johnny Ray (Esme) Osborne and J B (Grace) Osborne; and many more nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and one great-grandchild Each of them held a special place in Bo's heart, and his legacy will live on through them Bo's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and dedication He was a man who lived his life with purpose and passion, always putting the needs of others before his own His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him His passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who loved him To to the family or in memory of JB "Bo" Osborne Jr, please

Walker and Alice Rae Walker. Maurice was a veteran of the US Navy where he served as a Corpman. Later in his life, he was an educator, mostly teaching for the Oil & Gas Industry in Houston Texas. He often traveled to the Middle East and Europe to teach. Maurice was an avid reader and loved to solve and give riddles and shared jokes daily. Elodia "Momo" Moreno, age 90, was called home to our Lord early morning Saturday, December 2, 2023. Elodia was born June 16, 1933, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Sebastian and Margarita Sotelo Ferdin. She was second to the oldest of six children. Elodia was of Catholic faith and enjoyed attending Mass. She also enjoyed playing Loteria with family and watching her favorite telenovela "Virgen De Guadalupe". She is survived by her five daughters, Cora Venegas of Corpus Christi, TX, Margie Reyna of De Leon, TX, Josie Martinez of Corpus Christ, TX, Rosa Adames of Onalaska, TX, and Maria Rodriguez of Houston, TX, and one son, Paul Moreno of San Antonio, TX. Elodia is also survived by one brother, George Ferdin of Pasadena, TX, and two sisters, Virginia Rodriguez of Texas City, TX and Olivia Olivares of Dayton, TX. Elodia was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Elodia has been reunited with her husband, Pablo R. Ty Joseph Pressley entered the gates of heaven at the age of 19 on November 22, 2023. Ty was a beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and friend. Ty was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 23, 2004, to the parents of Justin and Katheryne Pressley. He grew up in Sandia, Texas and was a 2022 Orange Grove High School Graduate. At the age of 9, Ty accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and was baptized on December 15, 2013. He and his family were and are still active members at The Grove First Baptist Church. Ty enjoyed playing multiple sports, but his passion was always basketball. Ty started playing basketball with the Orange Grove Youth Basketball League at the age of 5 and then continued playing through junior high and then on into high school. Although basketball was his main focus, he also played football and baseball over the years. As much as he loved playing sports, he also had a passion for agriculture. Ty was a member of the Orange Grove FFA where he participated in the Jim Wells County Fair from the 3rd grade through 12th grade. Over the years, Ty won many ribbons, banners, and belt buckles. Ty not only showed at his local county fair, but also in various major livestock shows such as, San Antonio, Houston, State Fair of Texas, Austin, San Angelo, and Rio Grande Valley. Being an active member of the Orange Grove FFA, Ty competed in the LDE/CDE FFA teams and served as an officer for three years. Not only was Ty active in sports and FFA, he was also a member of the Academic Club, National Honor Society, and Student Council. After graduation, Ty joined his sister Kalah at Tarleton State University where he was majoring in Animal Science. His aspirations were to go into ranch management. When Ty wasn't playing sports or doing schoolwork, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and late nights playing Fortnite. To know Ty, was to love him. He had a smile that would light up an entire room, typically followed by one of his goofy jokes. He had the biggest heart and loved those he cared about. He was a hard worker and took pride in what he did. Ty was thoughtful, caring, and kindhearted; just like the good Lord intended His children to be. Ty is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Dale Rokohl, great-grandparents Bobby Pressley, Joe and Nancy Hartley, Butch Dove, and Kenneth Pair. Dalia Betancourt Casas, beloved 79-year-old wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 27, 2023. Dalia was born on August 10, 1944, to Santana and Aurora Betancourt. She was one of seven children and spent her childhood and teenage years picking cotton. Despite her third-grade education, Dalia became self-educated, literate, and modeled her incredible work ethic all throughout her life. Her favorite hobbies were getting together with the family on Clarkwood, celebrating birthdays at Hazel Bazemore Park, making tamales with her sisters, playing Bingo, working in her yard, and later in life, attending all her grandchildren's events. Dalia will be best remembered for her kind spirit, hospitality, and welcoming heart. She never went a day without fresh flowers by her bedside, courtesy of her husband, and she was most proud of her grandchildren. Her grandson, Romeo Garcia III, is currently serving in the Air Force in Japan, her granddaughter, Victoria, is a graduate student and current PreK teacher, and her youngest joy, Isabelle, is a current Miller band and theater student. Dalia's world revolved around them and she seldom missed any event she was invited to. She is preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings, and her son, Jesse Joe. Dalia is survived by her husband of 52 years, Perfecto Noe Casas; son, Abel Cerda; daughters, Cynthia Cerda and Nora Casas-Garcia; beloved son-in- law, Romeo Garcia; and 13 grandchildren. Our distinguished appreciation to Yolanda Lopez and her family for five years of not only being Dalia's provider, but also for becoming family and caring for both Dalia and Noe. Juan C. Hernandez passed away peacefully at his residence on November 28, 2023, in Alice, Texas. He was born on September 22, 1951, to his parents, Ignacio and Olivia Hernandez, in San Diego, Texas. His early years in San Diego shaped him into a young man who valued education and taught him the importance of family bonds. Although his formal education concluded after the 9th grade, Juan possessed wisdom and practical knowledge that far surpassed the walls of any classroom. He found solace and pleasure tending to his garden, where he cultivated tomatoes and chillis with the same care and attention he gave to every aspect of his life. His love for Tejano music was deep-rooted, with artists like Ruben Naranjo and Freddy Martinez providing the soundtracks for many joyous dances. A devoted fan of the Houston Texans, Juan enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement of watching the games, as well as the thrill of playing bingo with family and friends. Yet, nothing compared to the joy he received from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. For the majority of his life, Juan dedicated himself to the construction industry. Known for his punctuality and strong work ethic, he earned the respect and admiration of all who knew him for his value of honesty, kindness, thoughtfulness, having a good loving heart, and being attentive to the needs of family and friends. Erasmo "Mamo" Castillo, passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 75. He was born on May 20, 1948, to Merced and Maria Del Pilar Castillo and was a lifelong resident of Agua Dulce, Texas. Mamo's early life was spent in the tight-knit community of Agua Dulce where he attended the local elementary school and knew everyone. He would sit on his porch and joyfully wave a big hello to all who passed by. He loved fishing and couldn't wait for an invite to go fishing. He enjoyed walking at least three miles a day down Hwy 70 to the park and then back home. He worked as a bartender for his friend in Corpus Christi, where he greeted his patrons with his warm smile and convivial spirit. He enjoyed listening to Tejano music and loved to dance. He was also very politically involved and would eagerly look forward to election time, where you would see him at the courthouse or the Berlanga building campaigning for candidates. Mamo was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed visiting with his beloved niece Elizabeth Perez, who would often come to see him and make sure he was okay, as well as his niece Rosa Maria Soto, who was always attentive to his needs. Mamo is proceeded in death by his parents, Merced and Maria Del Pilar Castillo; his siblings, Baby Olivia Castillo, Gerardo Castillo, San Juana Borgorje, Maclovio Castillo, Luis Castillo, Maria Criselda Soto, and Tomasita Garcia. The smell of sunflowers and daisies, her favorite, would often fill her home, a testament to her green thumb and love for all things beautiful. Frances also had a deep appreciation for Renaissance movies. She loved the grandeur and romance of the era and often spent her weekends immersed in these films. Her love for dressing up for the holidays was another testament to her vibrant personality. Whether it was Christmas, Easter, or Halloween, Frances always had the most creative and festive outfits, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Frances is survived by her siblings, Valentin (Christina) and Diane Hellman; children, Erik Munoz (Christina) and Lisa Duncan (Josh); along with numerous grandchildren and extended family.
